  2. Fantastic action shot mate Atb Freelance
  3. Very nice looking runner mate, a credit to you
  4. I liked Len, one of life's true characters. I used to get jabs and bits and bobs off him when around the shows, one of my old mates had a half cross out of luke. To be fair it was crap, not saying they were all like that, just that one. I don't believe he deserved to get a custodial sentence, especially at his age in life. He was hardly Ronny Biggs FFS !
  5. Yes,..I think he was,.and still is.... Cheers Chalky thought so
  6. Dont no where you are, but there's a big moon and the grounds frozen feckin solid near me
  7. HGB am thinking of a blitz, how come you changed the bulb to 50 watt ? Am now using the deben version off the striker, not that impressed with it. I still have my old coleman 800,000 that i used to use back in the 90,s for roadsiding off the back of the van with
  8. I used to own this little green book/pamphlet , till some little toerag pinched it from my house. I would like to replace it to my book collection if anybody has a copy they would like to sell ? Also does anybody know of N Bird and was he a keeper or one of us ?
  9. I,m about four months into the stalkers, seem ok very warm and comfy. But have ripped the feckers already, not sure how long they will last for though.
  10. Went to one years ago in Wrexham. Harold Wyman was supposed to be speaking, but unfortunately he took ill and could,nt make it. It was real shame as i would of liked to of listened to his tales. Instead we got Garry Hosker speaking.
  11. I don't think there,s that much gear round sheffield pal, i hope you get some cloud cover as the moons beaming
  12. Had one in the early 90,s. A three quarter bred beardy border bitch, which turned out to be a really good little dog taking all british quarry although only roe in the venison steaks. But a lot didn't turn out to good, some mates had some that were none too clever, temperament issues and such like. Hancock churned out that many dogs that sods law said some had to turn out good. At least you got for your money a genuine half cross or three quarter ect. A lot of people only bought one because of plummers clever marketing antic,s with his books, would i have another ? NO i wouldn't, not knocking
  13. He would have more luck using his leg instead !
  14. The dirty scruffy cow dosent even wipe her arse ! And sum filthy animals would pay good money for her to do that on a glass coffee table
  15. Whin i was up there with an old mate from nearly fifteen years ago and he left the NLRC a long time ago, i aint puttin the blokes name up on an open forum as he keeps him self to him self these days.
  16. Whin i saw the dog work when it ran in the field trials, and it did well for its age it was only a young dog if i remember right, and it was very very steady. And no i wasn't a NLRC puppet, i was up there on the invite of a mate at the time
  17. Didnt he run a half cross wheaten grey bred out of springviews horrace as well ? I allways enjoyed his articles allthough i allways thought he came across as a bit of a plummer type with his theory's, i maybe wrong but i remember him writing about sickening the Danny dog on rabbits on purpose so it wouldn't chase them, so the dog would be more steady for other tasks, maybe a bit fanciful i walked by night crack. Whin tell us more ?
  18. Cant really see them being as good as a lightforce, but i have often wondered what there like and the beam they throw. Mite be worth a punt as there pretty cheap on the net.
  19. Its just getting on top every where now mate, did it say what fine they got and if they got a driving ban and dogs took away for a while ?
  20. To be honest i wouldn't worry about what size he will make at 19 weeks mate, they have fits and spurts at growing so i would ask again when he is about 6 months or older, just get plenty of good grub and flesh down him and let him enjoy being a little tyke. And as for size i wouldn't worry to much as ive seen smaller dogs take and pull down all sorts of quarry preban including my old dog which was about 24 inches to the shoulder and i took every thing with him, so all the best mate with your new pup
  21. I have to agree, i never used to use a filter for bunnys. But when i was roadsideing back in the day preban for other stuff i always spotted with a filter on. I have lamped round your way Phill and yeah theres plenty at it and some area,s are a tad hot, but i also think parts of the dales are getting that way now.
  22. I was at Tommys a good few years ago with a mate who was friendly with Tommy, he had packed the lurcher game in and was on with sheep dogs. But we had a good old chat about the old days and he put us on to a few spots to get a run while we was staying up there, i thought he was a quietly spoken genuine nice enough sort of fella
