Join BASC. You get insurance with BASC and legal backing. It's just another positive factor you could mention....plus you should be a member anyway.

The idea of the foam was to raise my cheek up, about 1/2'', so it was still tight and comfortable everytime, and i could also see straight down the scope everytime. Now if I'm bench shooting, prone or off a bipod my face is in exactally the same position to see straight down the scope because there is no head movement. :-)
-
You mention 'different head position'. When you are shooting off your table make sure the cheek piece is nice and tight up against your face. You want it so that every time you hold the rifle it fits the same. When it feels nice can you see straight down your scope?. It's no good having a really good fit then having to lift your head to see down the scope, your groups will suck. This was the problem i was having. I didn't even notice i was doing it till it was pointed out to me. I shaped, and add, some insulation foam to both my CZ452's and the grouping, especially on the HMR, has got much bet

Got both. If i had to have only one it would be......the 22.

You should only go tp prison as a last resort or if you are a threat to the public. I don't think he'll ever be doing it again, and he definitely isn't a threat to the public, so he shouldn't be doing any bird. I don't see the problem with killing squirrels but i do have a problem when people let animals suffer. To not kill some thing out right with a .22 when you have it in a cage is just sheer negligence.
-
I have also built the hide so as i can sneak in to it with out alerting any squirrels that are feeding. The other plus point is you can do a bit of bird watching from there as well.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=64-KBvHp_3c I use the same method as this. Build a feeder, fill it with wheat, build a hide at a distance that is good for you......then wait. I have shot 53 in about 3 months. Mines in a wooded area right next to my house so it's really easy for me to go out there. I have a hide set up that's 13yrds from the feeder. I would have liked it a bit further away but any where else and i haven't got a clear shot. I have a leather seat in there with a back rest, buit in some foot rests and tables on either side for tea and biscuits. I have

If they check with the Dr and he tells them about the depression, then that's a metal illness. They will then say ''You told us you didn't have any issues and you have. There fore when you signed the form saying 'Everything on this form is true' you were lying!''. He'll then say that the depression was after the form was sent in, and they'll say ''Then you should have informed us. You know that depression is classed as a mental illness and there fore you know you should have informed us!''. If i was this guy i would just let them know. The Police will look on that better than having to find ou

Paid £335 for a brand new Bakail Hushpower.410 about 6 months ago. Have you thought about a 28 bore?. Fired a Revo in 28 and i thought it was very good. I don't like kickback and it was only after shooting it that it dawned on me how little it had. It felt more like my SX3 semi auto.
-
Got an SX3 and can't fault it.

You need to get in touch with BASC, are you a member?.

For what it's going to cost i would just go and buy a box of BB's. That way you know they are going to do the job and do it humanely

When they build the new coup incorperate a trap in the fence. Build in a trap door that swings into the coup with a holding area that is covered. Also build in a small gate that can be opened so yo can get in yourself and to let out any stupid cats that get in there.
-
I did the same. The write 'see attached form' in the box where they want you to put your convictions, and staple the form to the application.....job done!.

How would you de bone the tail?. Do you just peel the tail back and then roll it off like a sock?, or cut it down the length?.- 35 replies

Independant camera shops usually stock binoculars. Pop in and have a look and a chat with them. They'll give you good advive and you'll be able to look through some pairs first. If you find a pair you like you can then find a cheapest price on the net, take that pricew to the shop and see if they'll match it. This is what i do for most things i buy now, get the price from the net, but buy local.

Caviar, truffle and gold leaf......they love it :-)

so do you think that any of them would be any use if you were in a situation where someone was entering your home and you thought you were at risk, by the time any of them turned up (if there was anyone on duty within a 10 mile radius) you would be toast, think that is something the government has accepted due to all the cutbacks they`ve made and have clarified the law to point out what you can or cannot do, major case law on this is Tony Martin, his big balls (and the only one) is he shot them when they were running away, if he had shot them inside his house it would have been `no problem`, a

I have an S410. Go look at both, give'um a feel. The one that fits you the best is the one to buy. They are both cracking rifles so you won't be disappointed.

Plus, any 'antis' reading this will be saying ''See, a load of killers in the makeing, guns should be banned!!!''.

Got the same. Just changed the Firefly IR for a Lightmaster 800IR, it's much better. Can't see any further but it is so much clearer. It's also a lot cheaper than a Firefly. Archer is very comfortable as well with the butt extender fitted, it feels natural when shooting so you can consentrate on the shot. Batteries last for ages. Really quick to put on and take off. You'll love it :-)
