  1. the dog could easily make around the 25 mark imo as there is a larger percentage of greyhound in it than anything else.
  2. why the f**k would you want to wear that. we are starting to rely on gadgets and computers to much making our own brain lazy its not a good thing.
  3. nice one. no doubt she will be missed when the time comes for her to retire, when you first got her mate i bet you never imagined she would turn out how she has. that idiot of mine plucked one out of the air the weekend in similiar style.
  4. i tend to agree with you cantona. i also like a light breeze as i tend to think that theses dead still frosty noises alert the rabbits to your presence easier. been out on meny a dead still morning and had rabbits bolt whilst putting the nets on before the ferret has gone down. i done a fare bit of digging saturday to a hob ferret i got off vin but i know when he goes in they either get the fcuk out of there straight away or he kills them quick.
  5. good vid trunk. strange things at times the old fox, the last fox on that vid didnt run far just shows if there in the beam then slip the dog youve got a chance.
  6. fairplay trev you certainly seem to get out there and enjoy your trips. ive said it before if ever you need a hand to carry all those bunnies i may possibly be able to help. ive always said i will have a couple of whippets when the time comes and seeing bags of bunnies like that and a whippet in the pic just strengthens the reason to get whippets.
  7. Lol... when i used do gardening couple times theyve landed on the botton end of the mower whilst cutting... there tame as anything they are how close they used come when was weeding or turning a bed over was mad . i use to go into work with a mate some saturdays he was a bus driver so i use to do the town service with him, anyway the shed they use to do the spanering in always use to have a robin in there and at bait time they use to feed it bits of cake and sandwhiches from there bait boxes, you could put food on top of your shoe and he would come and take it off.
  8. i bet its a hell of a buzz but by f**k some of it looks dangerous.
  9. How do I go about getting onto moochers When you have killed Dragons and slain beasts bare handed .........you will be sent for . lol is that how it works.
  10. its been spoilt by lads bitching and the ones who do all the bitching never seem to put any hunting topics there selves i seem to have noticed. p.s well done to those 2 young lads who put there post up on the other site.
  11. great stuff trev those little dogs of your certainly put in a shift when needed.
  12. good stuff mate. the old rabbit population is well educated this time of year. they know the crack round here thats for sure
  13. i hope thats true as sky is bloody expensive enough. i just thought it was certain programmes that were not going to be on the channels not the whole channel going, we will see.
  14. It would take a super dog and a hell of a lot of help. One stag that we did had 2 dogs on it, it was rutting the Jeep when we pressed it up against the edge. I've seen a stag that was run around the field straight line a kids big Deerhound crosses, it cleared a dyke and left the dogs for dead. 2 dogs and a jeep on it did you catch it?
  15. that blokes got some bottle he didnt flinch stood his ground until that lion hit him, or is it just stupidity lol
  16. i was sat eating a lovely piece of venison for tea earlier and was just wondering what others favorite food was to have along side a nice piece of venison. theres probably better things to have a nice piece of loin with, but i had a piece of fallow loin that i was lucky enough to get from my brother inlaw off his estate that he works on with a nice covering of gravy some peas and mash patatoes nothing fancy but i bloody enjoyed it. cooked to perfection. ive got a couple of chops to go at sometime in the future and must say i am looking forward to having them served up. i could do w

    Ufo's

i dont know what to believe to be honest, as Tomo said i dont doubt that there is other life forms on other planets. every ufo video is a the same as the black cat video just a blurry climse of something in the distance. which makes you want to be a none believer but you just never know.
  18. Yes and depending which filament you go for horizontal or vertical they will give you a different spread of beam, vertical will be tighter, horizontal wider heres a photos showing you both i always used the horizonital but in 30watt, i dont like the spot in the vertical but as with all things its down to personal preference.
  19. so did the old one,,,,, Old one came with a 70w, lance 50w striker 70w blitz 100w i thought it was lance 50watt, striker 75watt, blitz 100watt
  20. Good job anything ginger deserves to be culled
  21. nice one lads looks a sounds a good doo. fancy killing 2 pet rabbits lol
  22. great stuff trev another nice day out by the looks of things.
  23. i like to teach mine to jump. infact my 2 older dogs will always jump first even if they can go under. my young dog ben isnt a natural jumper so will look to go under first despite all the jump work i have done with him. i always found it to be one way of noticing a injury or little niggles that i may not have noticed just working the dog. once they start refusing or taking there time to jump i know they are either tired or hurting. so i check them over first.
  24. Cheers trigger that was yesterday and the dogs were on form to say most of it was on testing ground for them, just a shame I had to call it a day after 3 hours after the whippet fecked up jumping a wire fence after a rabbit. occupational hazard mate. great little dogs the whippet something i will have for my last dog i think. i bet they enjoyed working those rabbits though
