    whippet/greyhound should be plent fast enough bring it on right from a pup and you should have a dog to catch you a few rabbits in a busy hour or so

    i am currently using one of dlloyds lamps the one the same as the plr 500. i find the lamp just fine i can always see more than i can catch lol. so far it hasnt let me down in any way at first i was a little unsure if the battery will last the test of time. time will tell, i started this season with it.

    ive got a 75 yard quickset longnet 4 or 6 oz its a old net with a couple of holes in it still catches rabbits ok. its net without basket i thought i would put it up on here as somebody might want it, if not i will throw it away collection only craven arms

    thanks mate hows yours getting on? the misses let him out in the garden with my other dog and they were running round flat out and by all accounts he hit one of the metal upright posts for the washing line, he hit it hard has he bent it earlier on in the day before i took him lamping. he was lucky he never hurt his self.aw never he was lucky then.Mines about 25" now and solid with it, doesn't look like a 3/4 bred at minute.     he pulls like f**k when hes being held back. i need to spend some more time out in the field with him which i will do when the moon goes down. just me and him as hes better behaved and less head strong on his own.
