it wont hurt to introduce the pup to a few small obsticials to jump over now, but some dogs dont like jumping. all my dogs have been left to get on with it from 8 weeks of age and prefer to go over even when they can go over except this young dog i have now. for some reason he has always chose to go under first. he can jump as good as the others but thats just the way he is. one of my dogs being left to it. learning to go up and over

one of these in there prime aint no push over fuji have to say trigger ive only taken 3 mature fallow bucks in the last 15 yrs.2 of them even stopped in full flight to turn and take on my hound in a full on charge and the buck still stood his ground and would give it to my hound for at least 2 mins.my heart was bursting out of my chest. its a great buzz when the old buck stands to challange the dog. one of the most exciting times of dog and deer work.

if deer was your game then without any doubt the dog would be slipped on those. i would have thought that a large part of the drive to hunt them would be to see your dog catch the prize animal after all the time you have spent getting them into there best possible condition its nice to see them succseed.

pre ban i enjoyed lamping all quarry and have had some great nights out, but i really do enjoy a hard night on the rabbits just you your dog tuned into the the night steadily building up a decent size bag. i like to watch the dog have to dig deep into his tank towards the end of a hard night and still keep putting those bunnys to bed. had endless hours of fun in pursuit of the bunny rabbit.

its tough going sometime trying to get help, my mother had cancer of the oesophagus and had no choice but to starve to death, macmillian did f**k all to help us out in any way, but we got great help from marie curie. it was hard and we had to fight every step of the way for the help we received from the proffesanals, if it wasnt for charities we would have struggled, couldnt even get a wheelchair from the hospitial had to get one from the red cross.
