    How would a Mali x fair at the ferreting/mouching hunting up type of work? In theory I would have thought they could be very handy good nose,nice height plenty of drive. Would be interested to hear your viewsThanks i dont see why a mali X wouldnt be ok for a ferreting/mooching dog. nose appears to be decent enough on them.

    theres no reason why she cant accompany you out on the odd ferreting trip as soon as you start getting out. a few short trips and she will soon get the idea.

    it pays to stagger the cycle a little mate, i used to do my dogs every 3 months more or less to the day and my dogs at one point still had worms after being treated. i had to wait a fourtnight then worm again, that done the trick. my vet reckons they get use to a regular worming cycle so it pays not to be to exact with worming.

Matched twice in a week few times.As for the best we all need different things some lads are running fenced in paddocks or flinty downs some are lucky to run a dozen hares a season some are running that a day. Lot of variables the best for one man might be useless for another. she got a outstanding record for a dog that wasnt the best. is there any other dogs you know of that are around or have been around that have got a record like that? she seemed to win plenty when it mattered.     there was a bitch called foxy owned by c.n that one alot of competitions i think she won something like 30 drew 2 so the dog was unbeaten for a long stretch now that to me says a good dog. the daywalkers will probably disagree but to me thats some feat.

    collie/greyhound of some percentage X lab best dog i ever had, grew up with this bitch spent hour and hours learning what rabbiting was all about. she was a gift, come to us with her leg pinned and bandaged and a £100 to keep her until she died around 30 years ago. mum often sent my brother out to find me as i had been out for hours on end wondering the fields hunting. first dog i ever lamped on my own aswell she was.

    im not sure mate he's only had the dog a few weeks that's the first times he's took her out himself probably why they got rid. strange things at times dogs
