ive have a pair of meindle boots going into there third season this winter. i wear them beating, ferreting and on occasions lamping served me very well. ive never sat and cleaned them since i brought em. i occasionaly spray some wd40 over them every now and again they dont leak and never have.
mark the piss head with a litter of 8 or 10 pups hasnt got a fecking clue how old the pups are how many hes got lol. going to sell them for £60 a pup he reckons. my guess is they are only for a bit of beer money, shame really.
i found my old dog struggled when i put a filter on. he deffinatly didnt spot the rabbits as well so i chucked it in the hedge before he had chance to get use to it. ive never bothered with one since.
i think the pups tend to follow the damn and she is the more important out of the 2 in a mating.
look at mules and hinnies for instance. a mule is a donkey over a horse and a hinny is a horse over a donkey. there tends to be a difference in size and looks between the 2 and i believe it has been proven that the genetic inheritance of the hinny is exactly the same as the mule.
it is good gear.
ive got a collar and lead that i put on my dog when i go to the occasional show. i also had 2 leads made to length to fit over my shoulder that i use to carry rabbits and they have stood the test of time, been out in all weathers and still has good as the day i brought them.
i think alot depends on a dog what you feed them. ive got 2 lurchers and feed them different dried food. the old dog runs on bakers complete suits him. the young dog runs on super dog active suits him just fine.
i do feed raw mince chicken and table scraps also through the winter months when working my dog
black pudding, hash browns, tomatoes, beans, mushrooms, eggs, bacon, sausage, fried bread, bread and butter, with a nice piping hot cup of tea what a way to start the day. i fooking love a full breakfast
you got flat feet then.(dropped arches ) I have , they reckon insoles do help, used them when I was younger but never bothered as I got older . and seem ok, but having flat feet they reckon can give back probs what ive had for 40 years (bad back). so might be worth getting the feet sorted out .
Your pretty f****d aren't you mate....
me lab yeh , going down hill fast mate , everything wore out now. ready for the knackers yard now lol. 62 now so had good run out so cant complain mate
if your struggling ray mate i will take buck off your hands
you soon get use to the change over from a springer to a pcp. if you have a bottle instead of a pump with it then its not really any hassle charging the gun back up.
i brought a hw100 kt earlier this year and i am very happy with the gun. great Trigger, easy cocking action, and more accurate than i will ever be lol.
any good honest workers mate
. you should find someone soon enough i would have thought. from what i can gather the dog is from a good line rabbiting lurchers. its a good opertunity for someone to some decent working blood into there next litter.
