  1. goats will be fine mate. the fence at 3 to 4 foot should be fine aswell, as long has they have got plenty to eat they shouldnt have the need to try and escape. ive seen some folks keep them on a tether and move them accordingly.
  2. i use a lightforce lance 140 lamp with a 30 watt bulb and a 14amp lithium thats a good little set up, sometimes i put the striker lense on it for abit more distance when i am going to a spot with bigger fields than normal.

  4. i had lifted a couple of of old slabs from round the side of the house yesterday afternoon and was clearing some lose soil from underneath them so i could re lay them better than they were. when i found this. it looked like some kind of caterpiller and was not far off a couple of inches in length and got a horn on the back of it like a rhyno lol. ive seen allsorts of bugs and creature whilst growing up but it the first time i can remember seeing something like this. sorry the pics are not the best.
  5. the police dog involved has been withdrawn from operational policing. i wonder what they will do with that dog as its one of there own which has been out of control. do you think they will pts or just completly remove it from duty?
  6. i brought a hw 100kt 177 earlier this year to replace bsa hornet 22 it took me a while to adjust to the kt all i can say about it now is wow, money well spent.

  11. thanks for the advice. ive put him up on the hedge walked back down to the house and have watched him fly off. hopefully he survives. a bit of warmth and a dry has done the trick
  12. has its only been a short period of time ive dried him best i can i will pop him back out in the garden and put him up as high as i can near to where i found him then.
  13. i had been watching out the window for a while and havent seen any sign of parents.
  14. ive just been out to feed the dog and clean his run out as usall this morning and on the way back down to the house i spoted this poor little bugger perched on the patio chairs. the rain and all the thunder and lighting this morning as got to him a little. i am going to get him in the house now and get him warm and dry. my question is what is best to try and feed the poor little bugger? with all the cats on the estate hes been lucky to land in my garden as theres no cats in there.

    this is the only hunting site i bother with, i dont believe in fb reckon it should be fecked off all together. my life just gets filled with what ever the feck i need to be doing the rest of the time.
  20. it depends how soon you are going up mate. i had a couple of kits of Tomo and vin and took them up that first winter but it was in january i had been ferreting with them all winter though.
  21. take it with you when you have a trip out with Tomo and vin mate. its a good place to try a young ferret.
  22. me and a mate had a afternoon out on the pigeons yesterday. first time in a long while as there just hasnt been many birds in our area. my mate had spotted these birds feeding on barley saturday afternoon on his way back from shopping with his misses. about 5 oclock saturday afternoon i got a call from him saying he has found some birds but didnt know whos ground they were on and was i up for a look round tomorrow (sunday) to which i replied yes. i got to his yesterday morning and off we went to the spot he had seen the birds in the day before, and just has he said there was plenty of
