Id buy a running dog from Ireland?.
-
Its breeding may have a bearing on its attitude to command?. its got collie whippet gray in it bud Poor initial training then,it may improve with an experienced tutorship but its possibly to set in its earlier lack of education.
-
Split them up now otherwise in a few more weeks you will only be feeding one.

The ham and bacon the kebab houses serve as seldom been sourced from a pig?.Mcdonalds only sell beef products killed to a muslims faith,as do KFC,the Koran was written in Arabic, which the majority of muslims cannot read, thus the few that could interpreted it to their misguided and mostly non Koran beliefs, the list go,s on.

Queens birthday honour and she seems to become second to the troops on display, just as she prefers it,says much for the lass.

Probably costs a few hundred grand to stage, brings in millions to the economy, nuff said.Finest marching troops in the world, centuries of tradition and battle honours on show, young British men,a few lasses, trained and disciplined to the highest manner, most will shortly be off to more dangerous climes, some will not return standing,Britishness at its finest. As an ex squaddie it makes the hairs on my neck stand up as the bands play and the troops march to the beat,as a proud Englishman it fills me with pride to see the Welsh,Scottish and Irish troops make me realise im also proud to associate with

Flick his balls a few times too, that makes mine proper cross!!! Unless you put on a skirt that would make me a tad bad tempered?.

Ive lost count of the amount of times ive stood and watched a farmer working his Collie, especially on the hills. The way they cover the ground, tirelessly for hours at a time, working on minimal commands and instinct,in the most atrocious of conditions and with seemingly limitless enthusiasm. If the right balance of Collie blood is added to a lurcher they have no equal,if the owner as the ability to utilise their traits in his training and entering again they have no equal,if the owner lacks basic instinct with lurchers then a Collie x will educate them at times. The Collie offers endless attribute

What Lurcher X Wouldn't You Keep ?
morton replied to **Lurcherman**'s topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Whippet,Bull or terrier blood is not for me,any positives ive seen in them are far outweighed by the negatives they bring to the mix.Just don,t suit my hunting lifestyle, thats the crux, what an individual desires from the mix is less desirable to another, the beauty of lurchers i suppose, theres one there for anyones hunting persuasion. -
Obviously youve never frequented a corner shop in Bradford,Hancock is the Pakistani version of Ken Morrison. if im honest ive seen both good and bad from his stock but one thing i will say good or bad they have all been 100% what they were advertised as, something thats not to common these days Ive yet to see one of his/or her adverts saying Collie/Cur lurchers,no working background whatsoever, money back guarantee.Coming from Birmingham its maybe a bit of advertising poetry learnt from the Ethnic community thereabouts

Are the chucks retrieved oven ready or is there some untangling to be done?. It was past the oven stage mate... I can imagine.

The facts are,me you and many others are more interested in the kennel our jukels end up in,regardless of dollar,Hancock and co. are only interested in dollar. When the price of a litter becomes more important than the real value of the breeding, then its wrong.Hancock takes advantage of a less educated audience and is only interested in parting them from their folding, after they leave his premises the bond ends and its on to the next gullible Collie/Cur enthusiast ringing the Hancock doorbell, with a fist full of wedge.
-
Im slightly different,id be more interested in anything i breed finding a permanent and honest home, but, ive bred a type of lurcher over many generations to graft, catch and kill,id like the progeny to carry on and take advantage of the time and trouble ive put into the line.Hancock is only interested in the dollar and will never turn a wallet or purse away from his premises.Id hate my pups to enter a pet home, but a good pet home is far more desirable than a poor working one,Hancock or his daughter care little for where the dog ends up residing.
-
Everybody starts from scratch, fact, ive always found it easier to train two rather than one, they can interact and also learn from each other, more importantly they will have companionship away from the owner,it won,t be easy and training one to one as its positives as does littermates,as one progresses the other may need a little more reinforcement, thus a learning curve for the owner that can be utilised in the pups future education. But with the breeding in your pups id move one on and concentrate on the other,a more experienced kennel would possibly get the best from both,as a newer type owner

The digging comp,is always good for an alcohol fuelled chuckle. -
Some Hares never learn from a little education, their first pursuit is sometimes their last.Land that receives the most attention usually lends itself to the best gallops.Ive ran land where the hare gets little respite from a slavvering mutt and will straight line the best of dogs, land that receives little interest from the same type of mutt often ends in shorter and more rewarding runs, for the dog at least.

Once owned a Grey that was as safe with stock as any dog ive owned,on permission in front of the landowner it galloped after an Hare, bent and turned it and went out of sight over a rise, came back a few moments later with a lamb in its chops, pardon the pun.Fortunately the lamb was returned to the ewe unharmed, the dog received a lesson in manners and went back to basics for a while and it never happened again.

I thought all the young uns had packed in with the glue sniffing,a Collie with a dead moggie tied to its collar, pass me a bag and some super strength sticky stuff,i need some of these hallucinations to get me through the dreariness of another working day.
