  1. Paulus you do realise that ever nugget that awaits your every response on here, youd be surprised with the following you now have, will empty all the Tesco shelves of horlicks and long life milk now, just to get their bull crosses and summer hunting jukels into shape.Id have gone with the Marmite on brown bread?.
  2. Id say yes,a dog can still be kept in reasonable shape until bringing it up to working fitness levels as Autumn turns to winter, possibly depends on the individuals interpratation of fit. Not disputing that...but there's a difference between being in reasonable shape and fit...my dogs are in reasonable shape but they are nowhere near as fit as they were two months ago...It's not important for me to have them fit at this time of the year...I just keep 'em ticking over...rest and recreation... its nice to have a few months of fun with minimum risk of picking up injuries An un

  4. beleave me theres far to many down here, and the munty dose not have season, iff you was to leave it later in the year it cud still be preggy you can shoot them all year round,, has they breed all year round,,, A lot of things don,t have a true season, rabbits come to mind,im possibly old school, hunt things hard in the recognised season, then leave alone in summer and hunt hard again, reaping the rewards of a few months grace.Ive always beleived that a bit of stockmanship protects the individuals hunting lifestyle more than the lure of summer killing, land can be hunted over for millenia with

  7. Its obvious whats going on,the Muslim hate preachers have been allowed to spew their shite and drivel unregulated for over 20 years in this country, the goverments in power have been spineless and afraid of upsetting the fecking voters, they think we are all lettuce munching, gay black lesbian, wheelchair bound and Asian or Jewish. The people who deplore these mindless and cowardly acts, rarely exercise their vote, thus the voters elect another namby pamby and feckless goverment.Until we as voters stand up and vote for change, now we are really fecked because no matter what party you vote into power,t
  8. Young un done well, its a shame that Munty managed to get itself run over as if it had managed to dodge the traffic and raised young there may have been more of them about later on in the year.
  9. Is the straw sticking to the bones and then the dogs ingesting it,it will do the dog little harm, mine do it all the time.

My ferrets will eat the odd un,ive a Lakey that chews them up and eats them.Ive come across litters of Fox cubs with moles uneaten strewn around.I used to chuck them to Snowy and Eagle owls and they rarely ate them.

  12. No it was,nt. During daylight, on permission and in season Running venison with lurchers, sighthounds as been a big no-no since 1066,the Normans legislated against it not to long after the invasion, the same legislation is pretty much still intact in one form or another. your wrong morton The judge i was in front of that found me guilty may disagree.

  15. I forgot the camera pouch, chuck it in as a freebie, the amount of people now that hesitate to step out the door with the mutts without a camera,or mobile to publicise their outing. In the not so distant past it was dog, lead, game bag.Now its Camera or phone, sun cream, water bottle, hedge trimmers, then dog.

  18. A few years ago at the start of the season we set off to lamp just above the Storrifs at Bolton Abbey,we used to drive the motor into the fields and stash it whilst we went about our business, driving up a track the headlights picked out 4 naked feet,2 down and 2 on top facing down?,we flicked a lamp on the courting couple in the hopeful chance we would get a good view of the naked bird,as you do in these moments,to illuminate two big fat geezers in an anal embrace,as we gave them some verbal and watched hysterically as they tried to dress and make their withdrawal, thats an hasty retreat and n
  19. A pull out excuse sheet, quoting "if I don't do it someone else will" "had a phone call today" "its pest control" "im bringing on a pup" preferably laminated so the summer showers wont ruin it Bringing on a youngster i can understand, the amount of pest controllers on this site,im surprised anythings left alive to give the mutts a gallop.
  20. With some of the recent posts on here i beieve ive found a ready market for some new hunting merchandise and attire.Camouflage T shirts, shorts and socks, elastic socks so they can be pulled over the knees to combat nettle stings, waterproof trainers, because of our wet summers.A Rucksack with a lithium battery operated cooler compartment, two compartments in fact, one for the adult kills and another smaller one for the young, such a waste when the kills become fly blown before you get them home.Any other suggestions to accomadate the summer hunters?.
  21. Ive owned about 7 or 8 Beddy,s,one out of them was an ignorant liability and a loss in waiting,he,s now a pet,the rest have earnt or are earning their keep.Throw them in a kennel and take them out on the odd weekend and you will have a problem, graft them regular and hard and they soon settle into a stable pattern of work and recall, well the ones ive persevered with have. Fair enough, Problem is finding the work for them round here lol. Can go out on a 3 hour walk and put up loads of pheasant and bambi which am not interested in, I wanted one as a mooching dog and for the odd dig when mr fox w
