  1. I keep collie/greyhound-deerhound/greyhound types. True allrounders,do a bit of everything. Looked about for years for this type to line my bitch[found a dog by accident]. I only breed a litter to replace the old bitch, she had 11 pups, i left her with five, 2 for myself[3 where ordered, two weeks before they where due to go he cocked on them-messer].
  2. thought bedlingtons were mute.compared to other terrrier types ive never owned one or seen one work but my had a couple said they were mute . The original breed of Bedlington had hound blood bred into them, a proper working type Beddy sings like its hound ancestors. Some of the Beddy,s bred now have an outcross of fell, lakeland or border blood in their makeup, this for me produces muter type terriers.A Beddy in full voice will make the hair on your nape stand up.
  3. Still regret letting her go, but was breeding a litter out of my bitch. She,s single handed and a better dog.Kept 2 pups back.
  4. Working type Bedlington, lads i go bushing with have used every cross and type imagineable, after seeing Beddys at work, they all want one. you couldnt go poaching with one though, when in full cry.
  5. Had this type of dog, she made an excellent allrounder, suprisingly good on daytime hares, mustard on venison, outstanding lamper. Her major fault was she was only any good as a 2nd dog on fox. Very reluctantly let her go, would recommend the right bred dog of this type.
  6. Im confused about the no beardies or borders.Beardies i could understand, but borders?
  7. Trying site out, i keep lurchers and terriers. Main hunting is fox, rabbit and venison.
