It's certainly an option but finding a grafting one with good feet that's had the seasons under its belt and who's owner is willing to show it working seems to be like finding a needle in a haystack. Maybe I'm too picky. I don't know. See how mines goes this season.Still be a young dog but I.m not one to wait till a dog gets old before breeding. If you like what you see,you can use him for free.atb JohnnyPM sent mate Why?,young dog virtually untested?,possibly the needs of modern lurcher breeding and the requirements of the newcomers to the breeds?. I know the footie seasons a few weeks away, union is in full swing for the ones who can last the eighty without falling asleep, but curling, behave id rather watch tennis, probably untrue, who the feck watches tennis,it gets all the media coverage and has the least participants, curling as few participants and an even lesser audience, now whens the footie start. HURLING A little poetic licence?,hurling, curling, sounds like something id do after a gallon and an half plus a dodgy kebab.

Its a while since i last went,i dont do many shows now,Hunt shows and the odd FMWTC,the majority of shows now are getting to KC for my liking,if a show is to be judged by lads that actually graft there dogs, how novel is that idea now, then its worth attending and adding to the coffers. i stopped going for the same reason but this one is on the door step so i might go i will see if are young uns fancy are you going to this A bit of pest control with the terriers in the morning,as long as they don,t hold us up ill have a look see. -

The majority of Greys for the pet trade are hand reared,if they are weaned off to early and not gradually, then problems always follow.Young birds can be fine for many years, they are seldom sexually mature before 3 plus years, then the behavioural problems begin in earnest, they will bond to one person and see them as their mate and they can have a tendency to protect their partner and show aggression to others. Not all Greys become this way, many, many do.They need educating from an early age, stimulation and correction of unwanted behaviour is a must with them.Birds that are passed about because th

You must have better dogs than any ive seen running up there, most dogs ive seen worked hard in the Dales have had their stamina tested to the full.
-
Ive seen good dogs soon go backwards when faced with run after run on Dales bunnys, fit strong dogs at that,a few months down the line with several more visits the same dogs are better suited to the rigours of the numbers about, its surprising how much fitter a dog becomes, physically and mentally, after being hardened to the task in hand.Id say a dog needs to have stamina in its breeding, that can be developed with work,to meet the requirements of what you put in front of it,the harder most dogs are grafted the better it develops and the breeding shines through. Some mutts just don,t have it in the

I attended the show, apart from the size of the show rings it was a decent enough little bash, winning the £50 draw certainly helped, well done to the huntsman who threw his ticket when he picked his own and asked for a re-draw. -
the bestintelligent reply. And with such a intelligent reply and being suchKnowledgeable man.who in your eyes have the best. Who really gives a toss except the majority that are more interested in making a name for themselves than enjoying the gallop for what it should be about, testing a dog and enjoying the day regardless of the outcome, or whatever anyone else thinks. Some of these lads now with Coursing bred stock are making the sport more about themselves and their cudos, plus bank balance, than the real issue,a days sport and hopefully something in the bag and not dumped in a ditch as a
