    I have one and have had terriers before. They hunt well but their legs are too short. I like this one and it's a nice little character but I wouldn't buy another. They just can't keep up. I'm thinking of Putting a beagle or beagle/terrier over her to add a bit of leg to some pups and keep some. Sam

    Anyone in the Yorkshire area got a day old or bit older duckling I can buy? I tried incubating for the first time with 6 mini appleyard eggs and unfortunately only one hatched and I know you're not supposed to keep ducklings alone. Thanks

    It's too far away they're all the way in Northumberland. He had a last pup going about 3 years ago and said he'd save it, was just about to set off and he said sorry I've sold it afterwards. That alone puts me off going to him and I'm not paying 650 a line that's ridiculous. I only paid just under half of that for my bitch. Not having a dig at you pal just closer would be more convenient. Just wanted a stud that was decent on the coneys for bushing cos that's all I ask of mine. She's at the back end of her season now anyway I think I've left it too late. I'll find something next year. Cheers

    The difference beteeen patts and lakelands is hardly even worth mentioning. Seems like people are deciding the breed on it's colour of coat. They're all basically the same dogs. 'Fell terrier' should be the proper term for them all collectively. What difference, apart from colour of coat does a black 'patterdale' have to a red lakeland? Nothing. They're just fell terriers.
