  2. Each to their own mate. Sam
  3. Doesn't seem like a sensible idea to leave a collar around the neck of a dog that's flying through brambles bushes and fences at 100mph.
  4. Bryanm45 I wouldn't leave a collar on a dog that's bushing mate..
  5. Might sound a bit harsh but I'm not messing about with injections and forking out money for a dog that i don't get any use out of. Thanks for the reply TOPPER. Sam
  6. Just wondered if anyone on here had any experience with diabetic dogs? Got an elderly terrier that's gained a fair amount of weight in the last couple of years and has recently started to drink a lot more water and urinate a lot more. Couple of people have said she could be diabetic so I've done some research into it and I'm about 90% sure that's the case. Gunna have a trip to the vets shortly. Apparently the only way to sort it is twice daily insulin injections and a controlled diet which to be honest, I just don't have time for.Would probably end up having her put to sleep... Like i say, any

  9. What was their reason for selling him mate? Sam
  10. He's a nice looking dog mate. Sure you'll be happy with him. I'm happy with mine. Atb Sam.
  11. Nice pup and post Athomas, just out of interest what put you off the other dogs you viewed as opposed to the one you bought? Cheers, Sam

  13. I didn't pay that much for this bitch. I know what you mean with the novelty breed thing though. I've seen people charging 600+ for them which is rediculous I just fancied something different and I'm pleased with it. As for the beagle thing, I like beagle crosses a lot but the ones I've seen tend to bugger off too far away and you end up chasing after them two miles away. Not very good if your bushing fairly close to roads etc. This tends to stay closer to you which i prefer. One thing i have found though is when i go out with other lads and we've got a fair few dogs (10+) bushing together th
  14. Not as feisty as terriers. A lot more steady but a better nose. If i take it a walk with the lurcher on its own it puts more out for the lurcher to run than a lot of terriers I've seen. A man in europe bred it, it's a hungarian import. Sam
  15. Bushing rabbits, working with terriers and lurchers.
  16. This is .177 as well mate. The only calibre in 12 ft lb! Sam
  17. I've had a hw100. Unreal accuracy and I like the side lever and fact that you can't load two pellets at once but the shot count just wasn't good enough for me.Because it was carbine and .177 i was only getting 3 mags per fill. I bought a ln aluminium cylinder for it and still only got a mag extra. Very good guns though. The trigger on them is fantastic. Atb Sam
  18. Just thought I'd post a pic of my mk2 rapid. One of the last few hundred made. Very late serial number so obviously has the scalloped block and mk4 trigger. Absolute minter, still looks like it's just left the factory. Any other rapid lads on here? Sam.
  19. Completely forgot that i put this thread up. I go out for a mooch at the weekend locally if anyone wants a walk out. Not much to go at like but bits and bobs.always good to meet new people that are into it. Sam
  20. Someone wrote 'it's a mongrel then, good luck with the sale'. I've been a member on this site for almost 10 years and still get amazed how retarded some of the comments are. Hahhahahah
