Just read through this thread, more or less the same question i put on on another post, great replies lads, very helpful. If i had saw this before now i need not have posted.
Are the 100 cylinders made by A&M and are there other manufactures, i have been reading a bit about them and opinions seem positive. Would save me a bit of money and other than the weight i like the 100.
I have been following the thread about that 110, bit of a mixed reception on here, will continue to follow it. What weight are those in comparison to the ultra se. Thank you.
Thank you, i had thought about the lighter cylinder, i opted for a lighter scope, got on second hand to try, probably should just have got the cylinder instead as the gun is front heavy i personally think.
I have a hw100KS which i find nose heavy and just heavy, i know it is light in comparison to most air rifles though. I wont part with it but wish i had got something lighter maybe something like a ultra se. I just use my guns for hunting rabbits pigeons etc. I rarely fire more than 20 shots most looks out so doesnt need a lot of shots in the tank. Accurate and light is what im looking at. I might buy another one soon, would be for daytime hunting and could get a nv scope for the 100 and keep it for that. How do you rate the ultra. Thank you.
I have one out of same collie grey sire as that dog but out out of a malinos greyhound bitch, taking it slowly but he is coming on nice. Smart dog mate, real good litter that was.
I personally wouldn't run a dog to young but i think the main thing is getting it catching. NL you have great ground and your dogs are catching from the off, it is constantly missing educated rabbits on difficult ground that can get them yapping more than age i think. Getting plenty of gear in its mouth from the off i don't think beddy x will be anymore likely to end up yapping than any other x. I like a bit of beddy in. Just my personal opinion though.
Personally i think a real good working ferret is just as priceless as a good marking, each should hopefully compliment each other, a good one of either working together is a joy to watch.
Aye its crap down our way as well, catch and release next season i think. Just hope to many people don't pack up over it, i will be fishing. I fear for syndicates and clubs getting funds in if anglers tail off.
