  1. that's what i thought too mateits a lurcher race I stand corrected but wasn't master McGrath a full greyhound? So why would you have a lurcher race named after him?ask the organisers Ha ha ha Master Mcgrath was a coursing dog too, so it makes even less sense to name a quick sprint lurcher race after him lol
  2. Who's having the brindle gaf? And this too tall nonsense lol
  3. Very nice bitch, looks a good length to her in the top pic, good luck with her
  4. any pics of any of that litter? Was going to ask did it get used in any coursing lines that are about today?
  5. F**k all wrong with shivering potlickers, very very underated dogs, I love the little fuckers
  6. Smallest, pure whippet bitch 18" tts good on rabbits, was never really ran on anything else, though she did take a few hares, largest, 1st x deer/grey dog 30" tts, very very good on everything, including rabbits
  7. Not being funny to some of the lads on here that's been into dogs for years, but why piss on someones chips when all they're doing is asking for a bit of advice? Like I said J, grey/collie/whippet is a good type, good luck
  8. I would say grey/collie/whippet, should make a decent size for what you want, and be pretty easily trainable. Good luck
  9. Exactly what I meant, grizzly bears, one of the biggest CARNIVORES on the planet, eat MILLIONS of berries and vegetation, 'omnivores by nature'
  10. Dogs, carnivorous by classification and dentition, and predominantly carnivorous, but also omnivorous by nature. They eat a fair bit of vegetation, all my dogs have always ate quite a lot of grasses and herbs. Don't see the problem in feeding some cooked carbs in a mixed mainly raw diet either
  11. lab x bull grey the fastest lurcher you have ever had, f*****g hell what other crosses did you use to keep Lab x Mastiff Lab x mastiff x reverse 3/4 collie/grey, technically still a lurcher then, I think .........
  12. had one was my first lurcher 37 years ago was from a miner what a lovely looking dog was out 4 or 5 times a week good allrounder as you say never had a injury until it snapped its neck on a moor taking blue hares same as yours died happy lol would i get anorther no Why would you not have another mate ?? Good all rounder out 4/5 times a week never injured what more can you ask for ?? Was thinking the same, but from what I can gather NL 'click's with beddy x's, i e, they're his type of dogs NL, wasn't answering for you, more thinking out loud really lol

  14. Lol Nothing wrong with that, when he's 9 months he'll be 'smashing' teeth!!
  15. Never mind the meat, said it before and I'll say it again, that's a terrific little dog
  16. Aye but that is an apprenticeship rather earn 112 notes a week than pay thousands to get the same qualification. When I started my training it was £33 a week lol
  17. Wouldn't put a greyhound dog over a whippet bitch, far too big, even some of the smaller dogs
  18. Kebab!? , you can't do that, budgies digestive tracts haven't evolved enough to handle the fat content!
  19. Well, having read the reports it says the dog would've stood 7ft on it's hind legs. Not so hard to imagine, probably the same lines as the hound of the baskervilles, an early forerunner if you like
  20. A brindle beddy/whippet with a shiny collar, 'proper' dogs, will 'smash' anything that moves, FACT!!
  21. Nice pic that, dog looks a nice type mate, how's it bred?
  22. Was thinking that myself, the reds and the amount, but sounds a good result. In general I find most people are ok with hunting to put food on the table and for pest control, and with him making the pies himself, well, job done
  23. Besides freezing, worming regularly will do your dogs the world of good. Not digging, but in my mind regular worming is a must, however you feed your dogs
