    very true max but if the feckers arent allowed in at all there would be jobs for us looking for them , dont get me wrong a lot of our health system relies on these educated people who have worked studied & trained hard to rightly deserve a place here ,im on about the eastern europeans & riff raff from the world over who smuggle themselves in then cry poverty

    same here its dire , my main perm is thick cheshire rolling fields & woodland with endless warrens in the wood every part covered in holes ,if you ferret every warren theres only odd ones bolting from 30/60 holes its just not worth the graft . im leaveing them alone now untill after xmas (thats when the cover dies ) in fact i may not even bother ferreting again i have got rid of nearly all my gear

    i saw a person on ebay advertiseing the very same fruit trees from aldi .in the advert i could see the same labels on them ,,they was getting bids up to £40 very clever seller

    yea total shafting isnt it , i wont be going to anymore , for myself to go with entrance & fuel its easy £100 shame really as these shows price themselves out , some of the stalls probs dont even cover the costs ,its sad because we need these events but entry prices really need to come down in my humble opinion

    where am i going wrong with my pear tree , i bought it 6yrs ago from aldi .ok it was cheap but it looked in really fine fettle . every year loads of blossom & i cover it over with netting to keep the bullfinches off ,but ive never ever had a fruit of it only once a small pear started then died off , should i pull it up & cob it ?

    i was fishing an all nighter in wales several years back ,i lived end house in a row of 4 next to a local park ,as my back garden finished a huge police station was built behind it the biggest one for many miles around , , my wife rang me as next doors lads had been to all night supermarket for some fags & had a fall out with some asian lads , & they followed them ome in a car , next thing a dozen or so asians in cars arrived & started smashing the house up of the lads parents ,wrecking the car kicking the doors & windows in , my mrs & the others on the row all rang the co

    good old rat benders , we used to set them around an old tip , another trap we made out of a party 7 can ,cutting slits in the top then slightly pressing the sections down too make a entrance with a bit of food inside ,then dig it in put a couple of bricks round it then a board on top lol in them days 70 plus rats could be shot with our old relums & dianas the old paper rubbish bags was crawling with rats ,,happy days

    i remember the first time plumber showed up to us , myself ,dave roberts gary middleton & all the usual suspects was at edgeworth terrier show , we was all haveing a drink & a yarn when this guy appeared with a lovely girl on his arm telling us about a forthcomeing book he was going to write , first thing he did was insult my terriers ,at the time a ex meynel hunt dog named russ with a hard bitten nose & a skinless lower chin plus a terrier bitch with a plastered face by years of fox degs , i had no intension of showing my terriers just there for the craic , either way gary tol

    good night lads , as i drove over to my perm, i saw a car parked where it shouldnt have been so we stopped to check it out & spotted 2 lamps in the field ,so we got the big lamp out & lit them up & they buggered off , game on ,lol i crept up a hedgeline to get around them while my buddy waited near the car , then they started walking down a track towards me with headlight on ,i jumped out , bloody hell it was a asian fella about in his 30s with a asian teenage girl ha ha they thought i was the cops i appologised for scareing them & they went on their way , funny things you spo

    yes i use carp rods all the time ,just dont do a full pendulum job lol let the rod compress enough to lob them out , dont use more than 2ozs i use a spod rod most times its capable of a bit more , dont forget if you get a full string of fish its a lot of pressure , i cut my trace down to 3 white feathers with 2 oz bomb
