F**king tell me about it. Even the wife is as bad as my eldest daughter was before she left home. I work from home thank god so I can go round turning everything off although the wifey isn't as bad now since I told her we weren't going to be able to afford a holiday next year

Well said. They're supposed to be here for us not the other way around. Watch this to see how much they are crapping themselves from UKIP. They tried ignoring them, then they tried calling them names like racist and bigot and now they're trying to cozy up and flatter Farage. The funny thing is UKIP passed the conservatives by a long time ago and are more like the working mans party than any of the Red/Yellow/Blue bullshitters.

The whole nuclear thing is to be blamed on the anti nuclear power campaigners from the 80s. I know a couple of people who worked in the nuclear industry one a scientist who designed components and they both said that basically because we walked away from nuclear years ago the country stopped investing as a result there are almost no skills in nuclear energy in this country anymore to the extent that we do not have the skills to build our own plants. Beggars believe doesn't it.

Na, It's out through the wall, fairly sure. But even thogh, why just sometimes? It can be ok for days / weeks even, then we get a spell of it? F**KING annoying.......and stinkin'! But if your drains carrying the soil outside are cracked it might be leaking back in under the house. Maybe think about getting your drains surveyed.

Hot water crust pastry is the one to use and you have to make it your self. My dad makes an amazing game pie using this. They're about 6 inches deep. I supplied most of the birds that went in it and was expecting a bit more than a couple of slices but the family decimated the bloody thing last Christmas and there was nothing left.

I would say that's bullshit. Considering if they were shooting for 8 hours solid(anyone who has ever been on a shoot day will know they spend more time farting about, talking shit and sipping sloe gin than with a gun in their hand) they would need to shoot 100 grouse each every hour. or 1 and a half grouse a second Shure it wasn't brace? Well I'm happy to be corrected as I am no expert on Tax but this is how I see it. You have to buy a van for a small business and you have to put petrol in it to do the work so the van can be an asset which depreciates over 3-5 years but the running costs petrol/maintenance etc you put down on you tax bill and you don't pay income tax (not VAT) on those business expenses. So if they are going to treat beating as work and providing you are self employed you should be able to put the running costs down on your tax form as well and if beating means using a dog surely that includes food and vet

Tax man. If they are taxing the money you make from beating and treating it as paid work the as far as I can see you can claim back tax on any expenses the same way a plumber or mechanic can claim back the tax on money he spends on tools. So if you are beating without a dog you should be able to claim something for clothing and the petrol to get there. If you have a dog I would imagine you can claim something for its food as the dog is a tool for the 'job'.

You have to pay the tax but the next thing you should do is put in for all expenses you've incurred over the entire year training and feeding dogs, clothing, travel etc. They will owe you money.
