Hells Bells!!!! The Vulcan Black Buck raids durring the Falklands set a record for the longest bombing sorty in history, I believe to remain unbroken untill the 91 Gulf war. I was lucky enough to have got my private pilots license many years ago. I did most of my hours in the US because one hour was almost as cheap as a driving lesson in the UK and we were on holiday to visit my Great Aunt. The place I did my hours was run by a guy who was a retired Colonel in the USAF and he used to be one of the main instructors on B52s. I got given a tour round the airbase called Castle Airforce

BAE Lightening!!!!!!! I will need a box of tissues for that I live very near BAE Woodford which is now closed down but I love my childhood memories of goign to the Woodford airshow and seeing aircraft like the Lightening, Harrier, and especially the Vulcan Bomber. I was at school during the Falklands War and we used to see the Vulcans fly in to Manchester Airport although I'm not really sure why they went their instead of Woodford...but they did.

How anyone can call it independence when really it will just be Scotland being absorbed in to the EU under their laws and monetary union is beyond me. Look at the Republic of Ireland they got real independence from UK in 1922 and then their sh*t heel politicians gave it away!!

In the last week I've been walking him during the evening with the fireworks going off and also on busy roads to desensitize him to loud traffic and loads of people. Today I took him to the clay ground and let him walk round the club house off lead as I think the lead was making him more jumpy. he made some friends and got lots of attention which he used to shy away from. Then met a guy who though Ollie was his own Lab and even said "how did you get out of the car?!".
