Its completely cool to bring him, i would just ask that you take his weighted harness off and exchange your trainers for some sensible country footwear before you arrive .......... its a nice area that i live in, you know what its like, neighbours see a bull X, people start to talk . . . .. you get the picture. Do none of the others on your site keep Bull Xs in their caravans?

Lurchers and cats can live perfectly well together and do so all over the country but I would not trust a proper working terrier 100%

Just my very uneducated opinion, but you cant say a lurcher is no good until it has had at least a couple of seasons as a mature adult getting enough game put in front of it......you cant make your mind up that a dog is a lost cause in 5 minutes, it takes long, hard consideration about all the factors in the equation. What I will say is, once you have made your mind up then get on with it, dont prolong the agony because mentally you will have gone away from the dog and life is short. In this case, I would say this episode tells you nothing about the dog or its abilities......you just c

Couldnt stand dog or people agressive dogs around me but that said, some of the best dogs I have seen have that glint in their eye that means you dont "totally" trust them.

I was once out shooting with JRY when he shot at a crow and spent the next few minutes boasting of what a brilliant shot he was.....imagine my fright and horror when the crow, like lazarus rising from the grave, came back to life and flew away into the distance even though JRY still insisted it had been a perfect kill........it haunts me to this very day, chilling it was!! :laugh:
