Nice to see Lloyds name mentioned, he was a very good agressive fighter, I liked him a lot....its a shame his hands were too weak to cope. Does anyone know if this is what eneded his career?

Most folk who work 40 hours are going to be out of the house 10 or 11 hours each day, so do they all change to part time work or do they go on the jam roll or what? If I travel to Scotland which takes me 10 hours, there wont be dog shit all over the car if I do it non-stop, the dog will just lay down and go to sleep the whole way if I didnt make a piss stop for it. It wont be crying, or going up the wall..........it wont get out of the car and try and attack stuff or have a mental breakdown.....it just does it. Its my opinion, not saying its right but its mine, that a nicely chilled out

Aye mate, i just meant your semi-drivel about making dogs nuerotic wrecks by over pampering. And while i sort of agree. I'm not sure how much relevance it has. Just think 11 hrs a day 5 days a week cooped up on your own inside is gonna do the dogs head in more than too many walks etc. Your opinion /my opinion matey.....its drivel to you, fair enough......I know what I see, but hey, I am nobody, everyone is free to crack on however they wish The relevant bit, as I see it, is this......he is being told that he has to totally fit his life around the dog when IMHO you dont

Well done to you matey for sticking it out with the dog, I dont have the capacity to live with that and I have to be honest and say it would have been long gone so you deserve all that is good from your future career together :thumbs:

I dont think it has anything to do with being "hard" or "soft" on your animals, my aim was really to convey that if you relax around your animals they will relax around you.....and let me tell everyone, IMHO a relaxed animal is much more of a joy than one that requires constant nurture and reassurance (when adult) Also, I would say to this lad, if you are going to have a large type breed in-doors which may spend long-ish periods of time alone alone, then just have one dog. I know lots of people keep more with no problems, but dont cause yourself stress from the get-go. I have seen so

As long as they have food and water, leave them for as long as you need to (with in reason)....fannying around dogs leads to needy, nurotic animals. If more folk treated dogs like dogs and didnt try to humanise them so much you would have a lot more happy animals in the world. All this must walk at 6 and feed at 8 and wipe its arse every second thursday of the month will have the animal climbing the walls when you cant make the "date" sometime. Let a dog be a dog, you tell it not the other way round.

Is the ardex shite then?........I need to re-do my kennel floors soon, any good products that will coat the top of the smooth concrete, fill the one or two small craters and last?

Dont worry too much about how thick your line is, other than pre-stretched its all much of a muchness........3 or 4 feet of lead core will set your mind at rest, and you wont need to worry about the colour. Just as an aside, and it is a very personal thing, I never use backing.....always load back to front, but thats just me.

Do you bollocks .........I have never in my life seen a dog walker loaded down like they are yomping to Port Stanley :laugh: What a f*****g dreamer ...... I do and me and my friend take a load of toys for them to carry on with we have been known to take a disposable bbg maybe you dont care enough to do the same for your dogs but i do.I take it and carry a load of stuff with me to ensure my dogs can have a good walk without getting dehydrated and sun stroke.So if your so much of a f*****g know it all come on up and i will prove it to you :laugh: Jesus, it gets f*****g bette
