To be honest you always find that '' community spirit'' comes from the most unexpected place when you're on the bones of your arse & the folk you thought would have always been there are inconspicuous by their absence , I guess in reality its human nature to want to look after your own kids & make sure there ok over the bloke up the road who cant pay his rent

Note the dogs out on there own .. a common sight ... pretty much where I live now I grew up in that row , my home was just past the 3 people standing outside the shop .. I can recall them taking down the pit wheels as a child These buildings are still standing , this was before my time but the shop on the fork in the road is still used as a business

My dad worked 3 shifts all his working life but as a child I was welded to him .. on his rest days as a small child we walked the canal , saw my first fox & badger with him ... grew produce in the garden ... kept rabbits which he taught me to look after .. even though I am nearly 50 I still go out with him .. his mobility is very limited now but we managed a day trip to llangollen & went over the aqueduct on a boat & a walk round the lovely little town I find myself going to grab his arm now as he walks using a stick which he hates wiered how the roles have reversed now he use

I can only draw from my own experiences of dogs & kids in the house .. the only dog I have had that was game for want of a better word was a cross breed terrier , had her from a few days old & hand reared her , she was an odd little dog .. but when I took her in my youngest was about 3 She tolerated the kids & was happy to lay in her bed when she didn't want bothering , but both my lads where taught not to bother her , she was a good house dog & I only ever saw what she was capable of once ... my eldest lad was about 14 & shinned the back gate & she flew at him

Seriously cant understand why the bloke brought an adult dog home with him that someone wanted '' to get rid of'' ... from down the pub ... complete madness & sadly the child payed the price for its Fathers stupidity

My idea of perfect was sat on the rocks looking out at the sea on holy island in November last year .. ever changing sky line it totally blew me away .. freezing cold & near hurricane winds .. you can keep your London's & your other big cities.. I am a home bird but Northumberland could lure me to up sticks & move in a split second

If I had my way I would sell up & move up there .. beautiful place .. lindisfarne is the best place on the planet as far as I am concerned .. if you like solitude & peace

I get flowers every few weeks which is lovely just part of my saturday routine kay ------- market -------------eggs,cobs,cake, veg,butchers,flowers ,full english breakfast-----------------------------auction all in the same place and with flowers at a quid a bunch sounds like my routine except the auction ... I love flowers brightens up the room
