    Senior/Managerial positions I'd play it safe with a suit. Summer interviews are good because I feel you can justifiably leave the jacket behind but in the winter there's not really that excuse. Realistically I think a classy good quality shirt, tie and shoes coupled with a sharp discerning haircut will display all the professionalism that a suit does but it's best to play safe. "You can never be overdressed or over educated..."

    I wasn't born into a hunting or shooting family like most people, wasn't even influenced by anyone as a child. It is just part of my makeup and I showed that from about 6-7. When the site became members only I had to register to read it and remembered seeing 'born hunter' somewhere... seemed appropriated to a 18yr old lad. LOL

    Our economy is doing great but tax revenue has not mirrored that. In fact the deficit has increased!....... yet the EU still want their cut, of effectively nothing. It's like they actually want us to f**k off!

    He's obviously no longer a killer. But Prison is about punishment as much as it is about public safety. And imo such a murderer should be put to death. So being let out after 30 years is less than adequate for the crime imo. As for Police lives being more valuable than the rest, that's bollocks. A life is a life.... and whether or not I like that particular flavour of person matters not. Without Police we'd be f****d...

    Like you, I think the ultimate outdoor hunting jacket is something of a myth! Personally I wouldn't entertain deerhunter and the like at all for waterproofing, great for general cold/windy weather though imo. I've used Harkilla for a couple of seasons, beating, shooting, lamping and up in the Fells and I really rated that jacket for waterproofing, practicality, toughness, durability and looks. However, the sizing is ridiculous and unless you're 5'11"+ don't even entertain it! I also didn't rate it as being very windproof. I'm giving a Ridgeline smock a spin this year... despite breatha
