  1. Keep the rules very relaxed and let everybody play to their strengths I say.... Some folks might be a crack with the camera and make it more of a illustrative story/article, some people might have access to a rare or wide range of hunting opportunities that most don't and a simple piece about that is more interesting than literary genius about lamping rabbits. Some folks might start thinking outside of the box and set themselves hunting challenges, a McNab (or imaginative variants), left and right woodcock, 410 challenges, culinary challenges where you hunt/gather everything for your m
  2. Not so much 'need' but 'want'. There are enough rabbits to go at and a couple hours lamping rabbits is up there with the best of sport on this island. I don't see any reason to have a 1 trick pony though...
  3. Max, that was more a dig at the electorate than the elected. The people of this country have been too short sighted and got the politicians they deserved.
  4. 3 terms of Labour was great for everybody! Loads of money and welfare! Not so great for the country though... Being a patriot is putting your country in front of your self. In this case that isn't hard because long term the two are the same.
  5. Partly... but also safety and respect. A double can be carried broken which keeps everybody else comfortable in your presence and is limited to a sporting two shots. Most are still perfectly happy to shoot with or in the company of someone who is using a semi for pest control, pigeon or fowling though.
  6. Don't forget to tip the keeper!!!!!!!!lol Absolutely! Here's one, stop showing off with that bloody 410! LOL LOL. That is another good point from Dan though. It's only good form to be gracious to your hosts and the others involved on the day and certainly tip the keeper for his hard work.
  7. It's a rarity these days for a shoot to have a problem with an O/U. Semis are a no no for good reason. You can hardly lump O/U in with them, general attitude towards O/U are far more in kin with SbS.
  8. Expect a lot of socialising, drinking, confusing instructions, all manner of birds (not all will be close/far enough to shoot, so make your own judgements), drinking and banter. And the day will most likely end with a piss up! LOL Etiquette: double barreled guns only, don't shoot at pigeons etc before the the first pheasants/partridge have started to cross, when the drive ends don't take a couple more cheeky shots, mark your fallen birds, don't poach your neighbours birds, pick up your emptys, listen to the instructions and morning brief and ffs remember your stand/peg number. Start of th
  9. Probably UKIP if they have someone standing. If not then almost certainly Conservative, preferably under new leadership.
  10. We'll spot the big f***ing asteroid that the dinosaurs missed! LOL
  11. It's alright, the former heavyweight boxer/bodybuilder/hard f****r is safe behind his keyboard... believe me, if this 5'8" physics geek was in front of him he'd be in trouble! I've got equations and formulae for stuff like that. LOL ps. That's light hearted humour at my own expense before anyone thinks I'm actually trying it on.
  12. oh for gawd sake dont get all victimised mate i mean you as in " science/astronomers/futuristic we know best " types......not you Bornhunter off a hunting forum !.................Look,far as im concerned do all the searching around yous like....but if you bring it on top for all of us i didnt vote for it but im stuck with the backdrop...thats all im saying......as have the tribes in that article when they was happy doing what they was doing and effecting no one.....someone came along who knew best and they paid the price for it. It's not in my nature to be a victim, I'd hope I've made that v
  13. "Maybe I know what's best for people"... you make me sound arrogant gnash. Don't be so subtle with your insults/opinions of me, just come out and say it. It's my opinion on what's best for us, that's all. As you have your own...
  14. Did you not read the article........or maybe you know whats best for people I read it briefly. One example of a primitive people that are allegedly doing alright... would you like me to give you 10 examples of people's that were either wiped out by a technologically advanced competitor or natural disaster they couldn't deal with? It's happened again ando again through history. It's ironic really, we wouldn't even be having this conversation if our ancestors had been 'happy with their lot'. Chances are we'd have been the unfortunate recipients of genocide or a pandemic.
  15. My explanation to space =theres fcuk all there but space. No fcuking education there. Finding another hobby for all you space monkees. Instead of looking for ET and fecking Predator. Ffs Classic! Go outside and look at the sky... f**k all there indeed. PMSL
  16. You might say that, I wouldn't. Like I said, realist.
  17. And that sits ok with you does it ?.........That we can walk in and stomp all over perfectly happy people just to bring them into the advanced world......even if it destroys them !......In my opinion forcing things on societies only makes them weaker, even little old England.... look how weak our society has become since multiculturalism was forced upon us ! EXACTLY, NO! Nevertheless it does seem like a fact of nature. So coming back to the original point, we can sit content with our lot... or make sure we have the ability to contend with whatever is out there in terms of natural or biological

  20. An interesting though pointless side note, Mars is the only planet known to man believed to be solely inhabited by robots! LOL
  21. What an absolute jobsworth c**t to ticket you for not displaying a f***ing FREE ticket! Honest to god where is the logic in that? Tax payers money at work folks.
  22. You're right. But it doesn't prove it's impossible! It shows how one of the steps is possible, the other steps require further experimentation.
  23. Don't be silly! They had kling'on and vulcan translations!!!
  24. I'm not a biologist, what I'm saying is that the building blocks for life have been proven to be created in such an environment. By the quoted experiment. I'm literally learning this as I go along. Which is why I don't see the experiment as proof that evolution is impossible, which was your original assertion.
