Absolutely f**k all wrong with wanting to earn well and making hay while the sun shines..... but f**k working a 60hr week! I'd have to really enjoy it or be earning stupid money. Credit to you mate, you have a goal and have the drive to work towards it. Seriously, can't help but respect such a man.

Can I just say, I wasn't out to mock anybody's opinion or whatever I was simply addressing the very poignant fact that to simply rescind their citizenship is against UN law, so if that is what people are suggesting then lets discuss the consequences. In fairness folks what do you want our politicians to do? They are bound by international law...... unless being strong leaders means ignoring international law willy-nilly? Actually TC, that's just after income tax. Add to that NI and any other deductions and it's less still..... It's a f***ing outrageous tax rate imo. But you still have to have a fair idea for a 'second income' to make it worth spending your extra time doing that than doing overtime at 40% tax. Most the time it'd be more economical to just pay the tax on the much better hourly wage.

If I had to shoot only one cartridge for everything, it'd be 32gm #5 personally. But thankfully we have the luxury of choosing a cartridge to suit the job....

f**k off, nobody wants to know....... Dan very kindly invited me down for a keepers day last January. Picking up a double 410 for one woodland drive he managed to shoot more birds in that single drive with a 410 than I did all day with my 12! Including a Woodcock..... however that alone wasn't enough, oh no..... he managed to drop the f***ing woodcock at my feet with a single shot!!!! It was an excellent day all the same.

Used to have a Mossberg 500E. Fun little gun for around the farm yard or pens. Paid 150 for it which was a steal.... had problems with cartridge extraction and the gun smith wasn't interested so I part chopped in for 200.... Wish the miserable sod had just fixed it for me but he reckoned "that's just what pump guns are like" so I sold the shop the problem. I'd love another...

I'm not being funny but if we're gonna chuck range out the window in this debate then just shoot the f***ing wad, it'll kill anything at 6 inches! There is no 'all round' cartridge imo. There's cartridges for jobs and that's it. You can get cartridges that cover a wider array of situation but there's not one that covers them all. For instance, as has been said a load of 6s or 5s will manage most small game and fox at 15-20 yards. But I still wouldn't call it an all rounder because no one in their right mind would choose it over #1 BB as a dedicated fox load. You wouldn't shoot driven J

WILF, I have no problem at all admitting that. ha There is definitely the possibility for the existence of a god. Whatever that may be exactly. I mean this is where I usually take an ignostic stance. How can I really acknowledge the possibility of such a thing if we can't nail down in logic exactly what it is? Though if I was to take a rough edged definition then yeah I guess it's possible. But I'm still an atheist. I've simply decided that in light of all the evidence to hand, that god most probably does not exist. Some people might call that agnostic atheism..... I wouldn't.

WILF, haha you're itching for me to acknowledge the possibility of a god aren't you. Fair enough and I wouldn't deny it. I've gone through all this with the implicit belief that it is indeed a possibility, just imo an extreme improbability. I guess when I was referring to a human faith function as part of our psychology I wasn't specifically nailing the cause down as physical or divine. Though of course fundamentally I believe it to be physical and not divine. I was simply saying that the stats prove there is one in us as a species, though they give no reason to the cause..... imo.
