  1. Yeah, I bet in the Navy it would be possible to do most of the Atlantic/Med'/Caribbean territories, including the Antarctic. The trickiest one, and the one which being in the forces would make easier to tick off, would be Diego Garcia. Pitcairn in the middle of the Pacific might be a bit of a b*****d too. Do Mountain Leaders or similar go to South Georgia? Probably not, be a hell of a treck for what could be achieved in Europe. It looks breath taking and there's so much history there of the whaling fleets and obviously has arctic warfare heritage for them.
  2. Absolutely. So the fella on this series claims that no one has every been to all of them before. But I imagine that by choosing the right path in the forces you could come pretty close, given they're either of strategic military importance or depend on the military for support.
  3. I should take a camera crew and maybe do a series for a well known streaming tv service to be able to distribute my adventure with the rest of you…. It would be very interesting, but unfortunately, ‘life’.
  4. I had to read that three times before I could begin to understand it, lol. There’s a lot going on in that post for this time of the day.
  5. I’ve often fancied visiting all of the BOTs. Most of them have some sort of fascinating history and/or are utterly breathtaking. Anyway found a little series on Amazon Prime where one fella manages to visit all of them. Worth a watch.
  6. Its shit tbh. Also, that is basically in the middle of the city you’re right. Crazy
  7. I bought a Geryon one in the winter. Fantastic bits of kit imo. Make packaging looks half professional when giving meat away. Think I just bought the best selling one on Amazon. Can be a bit of a knack to it but I'm happy so far. I want to try the compostable bags to reduce my use of single use plastic.
  8. For clarity, I checked the gov stats. In 2021, 43% of women undergoing abortions had had one or more previous abortions. The proportion has increased steadily from 36% in 2011 (Table 3a.ix and Table 4b).
  9. I think that is a huge factor in this debate personally.
  10. Previous abortions. I’ve not seen one for women that have given birth already. Just reading ‘21 stats now… The other really sad ones are that the number of abortions is equal to a third of the number of actual births, and the number that are for ‘mental health’ grounds is 98% of all abortions. Those done exclusively to cull handicapped foetus’s or because the womans physical health is at serious risk make up the other 2%. Do what you will with these facts folks…
  11. I literally told a mate yesterday that I thought it was a third and he googled it and told me it was 42%… the devious c**t! Either way, one third of a population is quite common/normal.
  12. Because it achieves the sum total of f**k all that’s why.
  13. The stats make for hard reading tbh.
  14. Quite close to being the norm, yes. I think it’s 42% of abortions in the uk are not first timers. But I personally don’t think calling them slags is at all helpful.
  15. It probably was, but they’re not the only maritime unit based at Poole. There’s one other little known team that train in similar methods.
  16. Seems like Saudi is opening up to tourism more recently. It's got some beautiful places. Truth is they need to diversify their economy.

  18. I'm not sure there's a dog that could handle an adult chimp with a baseball bat tbh... Christ that's a vivid thought!
  19. I've not travelled much but Brisbane was probably the most appealing city to live in I've ever been to. Plenty of cities that I like visiting, but also like leaving. The vibe is Brisbane was really attractive.
  20. Of course, but it never holds momentum. The two party system is inherently designed to counter it. Very rarely does it work. Change normally has to come from within the two parties. Third parties just act as forcers. IMO
  21. There's only one reason they do it and that's because it's an opportunity to stick the knife in, which is bread and butter politics. If they had the confidence of beating him in a GE they would want him to stay as you say and be calling for a snap GE. Even when they do that I doubt it's with confidence, just doing the dance that's expected of them.
  22. They reckon that they're one of the hardest hunts. Incredibly aware and smart, with lookouts. But also an agricultural pest. A bit of a fad for long range shooting them which isn't my cup of tea. Tbh I just fancy the skull of one on the mantlepiece by a tribal rattle stick thing that I can call Rafiki!
  23. Goes without saying I'd expect. Everything about apes/monkeys is a bit unnerving to me. They're far to humanlike. Watching natives hunt them feels different to ungulates etc.
