  1. Piranha 3D is more your flavour then. A whopping 5.5 on IMBD!
  2. The pound has tanked the past 12 months compounding the 'hurt'. But then again it was booming for the 12 months prior.
  3. Energy costs should start to drop now. Global crude production has pretty much recovered to pre-covid levels, and consequently the trading price of a barrel has dropped significantly this past month. Not sure what the refineries capacity is looking like but that's another price bottleneck. Russia/Ukraine just isn't the dominant factor in energy costs.
  4. Worries about the roof taking your weight making you hesitate?
  5. Out of interesting, I did google for that sort of thing. Problem is I'd want one that is compatible with a truckman canopy. If nothing else it gives a degree of security for stuff in the back. Essentially a tent 'end' that enables the tailgate and canopy hatch to be opened, extending the usable bed 'camping' space. Tbh though I have the tarp and that works.
  6. A dwarf that ain't scared of fish! LOL, feet/legs don't need a mattress.
  7. Because I’m lazy… And yes that’s a ‘repaired’ outdoor seat cushion DD tarp over the back to keep the damp/rain off too.
  8. In the interest of charity, that really needs to happen!
  9. No mate. This iirc.
  10. Dunno if it's the same one but there was a vid last year of someone getting chomped and spat out by a humpback!
  11. I'd love to one day bump into a basking shark in UK waters. Second largest fish, after whale shark.
  12. Socks is now hiding on the kitchen table afraid to finish the washing up in case a shark is in the sink amongst his mess tins and army issue socks.
  13. There's a conflation between sex and gender. In the article the proponents of this non-binary classifier say that "sex and gender should not be assumed" and then go on to only argue how gender is fluid and completely neglect sex. Point being, I don't think archaeologists really attempt to identify gender, by this modern 'fluid' definition, and only really identify sex, which is a strictly biological variable. Identifying 'sex' is as objective as identifying the species, there's no logical allowance for fluidity.
  14. You don’t think the infantry role can be replaced by a machine? Obviously it’d have to be trained to drink to excess, whore itself around every port town and eat entire packets of crayons, but you don’t think that’s possible one day?
  15. The real leaps and bounds will be made in networking the next generation of fighters and drones. Once all battlespace assets are talking to each other and optionally autonomous then there becomes an unavoidable tactical advantage to giving them full control of their weapons. At that point things could really ‘escalate’.
  16. I have a few more to add under 'foreign policy'. Only small ones
  17. Not paid for at least five years now, probably getting on for ten. Still get the letters
  18. Yeah, air strike the day after they made the deal.
  19. That will give cryptos actual value as currency, rather than investment commodities, as they are embraced by libertarians wanting an alternatives to the regulated €£$ currencies.
  20. This is a big deal. 20M tons of grains blockaded in Black sea ports. And I'm sure I read there were 200M tons in stores across the nation at risk of going to waste when this years harvest comes in. Russia, Ukraine sign deal in Turkey to export grain - The Washington Post WWW.WASHINGTONPOST.COM The grain agreement depends on goodwill that is in short supply, resting on Russian assurances it will not...
  21. In as much as the future of hunting and probably having to put up with heightened level of sab activity, yeah. The truth is though it was bittersweet. A lot of the lower ranks wouldn't have been able to help but think "about time the fuckers handing out the orders feel the heat for once".
  22. The opinion of lads that have earnt the right to have an opinion is exactly that. It was just an exercise in promoting their own importance. The objective had minimal value, the risks were not controlled, and the impact of those risks was great.
  23. They should've known a lot better. Jesus Christ, former intelligence agency chiefs hunt ffs, they're connected to f**k. They should be able to handle basic levels of security... ....including asking the question "is this even necessary?". What did they achieve? Were they actually contributing to the protection of hunting by educating the lads and lasses on the ground taking the risks? Of course not, because they know exactly how to play the game these days. That video got out and caused more actual damage than anything since the ban. A court ruling won't make a f**k of positive diffe
  24. This the MFHA Skype meeting? Bunch of total f***ing idiots, done more damage than any hunt staff. And to share info that the folks doing it already knew. This appeal will do absolutely no good other than to bring it back in to the limelight. The video is out there for anyone to watch and see these idiots blatantly admit to breaking the law, no matter what a court rules.
