  1. Stake the goat out.......... then eat the mint infused bugger.
  2. I suffer with it and for me it's a gun mount issue. I've got girly f***ing cheek bones and if I don't drop my cheek onto the stock (lower my head down rather than bring it across) to get a bit of 'cheek cushioning' I'll get a swelling just beneath the cheek bone after around 40-50 shots. The soreness will remain for about a week. It's snap shooting that does it for me as the gun mount tends to be a little sloppy. Also a lot of over head targets. So roost shooting can beat me up a bit. I tend to use my auto for that reason.
  3. Where do you draw the line? Any body that dares to try to approach the question rationally gets accused of being a greedy murdering capitalist b*****d. LOL
  4. Fools and their money comes to mind.... I wouldn't be able to help myself. LOL.
  5. More Johnny English than James Bond.
  6. Are all these theoretical models taking into account the rifle's inherent precision too? Given, say, a 1MoA precision, that's around 3" at 300yards right, 1.5" at 150yards. So if these ballistic models are accurate and you have around 4" of 'drop', then add the errors created by the precision of the rifle (1MoA) and suddenly your 4" 'guaranteed' vertical drop turns into 6.25". That assumes 1MoA precision from the shooter/kit, 4" ballistic drop out to 300yards and that 1MoA precision is held out to that distance and doesn't become 2MoA or whatever. Starts to make ya fecking head ache, l
  7. a bit untrue lol BH have you seen a James Bond movie none of it is realistic ! I mean apart from ridiculous stunts James bond as a spy genre has completely untrue . He should be spying on Isis not someone like a mad Bill gates billionaire that has plans to take over the world I didn't say realistic, lol. I said true to what Bond is, what the character is. Starting a fresh secret agent type franchise, an African/Indian/Arab would be perfectly acceptable, as many real life security agents are of that ethnic background. But Bond is already established, the image is already established.
  8. The character of bond is a stereotypical British gent from higher parts of society, refined, articulate, charming, educated, familiar with the luxuries of life and served as an officer in the forces. A British ethnic minority playing the role would seem as out of place as the entire cast of Downton Abbey being African. In a different 'secret agent' type film series it would be completely appropriate to have an African/Indian/Arab etc playing the 007 character, but not in the Bond franchise, the character type has already been ingrained in the audiences/fans minds. Making a none white f
  9. Got to agree, the country looks great jiggy. Real wild land.
  10. Yeh and them loonys,,,snp,,,pliad Cymru ,,,and greens want to scrap,,,trident,,,,and they could end up in bed with labour,,,,sobering thought...you know not all scots want rid of the trident some would just feel a little safer if it was in your backyard instead of ares you know the funny thing is if the thing fucks up Scotland takes the hit of ending up like Chernobyl personally I would rather it happend in England then Scotland Don't forget the airfields of England were home to the UKs nuclear deterrent before Faslane was. The deterrent is based where ever is most appropriate under the circum
  11. Finally embedded the clip... f***ing technology!!! Yeah, I thought it was pretty funny. The fella didn't half howl!

  13. Thanks for filling me in on that joe. But is the answer to ban contracts that don't suit some or create an economy that has plentiful jobs forcing employers to offer more favourable contracts? I rarely see further legislation as a long term benefit. Just strikes me as playing to populist politics. Also, if people are being forced to take jobs that don't pay an effective wage then surely it's the system that needs addressing. Why attack the employers? We need an economy that stronger favours the workers, legislating against employers rarely helps that.
  14. Ill guess what you do............read to many sas books, then say things like "brains on pavements" then say "iv'e never had a fight" lmfao...........clown...........your opinion don't count for much with me BH, ill be honest. Upset you have I? LOL. I can't ever remember reading an 'SAS' book in total honesty. You know best though. LOL
  15. I got shot of my pro hunter and bought a pintail smock. Wouldn't go back! Fits a lot better and very light. Yeah in warmer weather you will sweat but it's so light, just take it off! I treat it as part of a layering system. Perfect in colder weather, can wear in all day beating, rough shooting, stalking etc.
  16. Am I missing something regarding these zero hours contracts... surely if you are searching for a job and you don't want a zero hours contract you don't apply for a job that has one! ??? They suit some people so leave them be. There are plenty of jobs and contracts out there that don't suit me, have a guess what I do...
  17. By Col Tim Collins? I think he was being a bit optimistic (or naïve) in our capability tbh. For instance claiming that a Type-45 Destroyer has an effective lethal range of 120km.... which is true if the target doesn't fly below radar (sea skimming), then it's pretty drastically reduced to a 30km range! And claiming that if every attack jet in south America simultaneously attacked they could be dealt with... well not quite true seeing as a Type-45 doesn't carry enough missiles for that even though it's systems can manage such a large attack. Few other bits too but can't remember. He's r
  18. No English allowed to shoot Scotch Birds and Beasties! Europeans more than welcome....
  19. Paulus, you mad f****r! Nibiru...... Wasn't that the fundamental belief of that bunch of lunatics in the US that topped themselves so the spaceship would take them away when Hale-Bopp went by? I don't even feel sorry for people that f***ing stupid! LOL. The world is a better place with them sort feeding worms.
  20. Have you had a Google, sure I read those Ford rangers give problems. Seen a few suspiciously cheap ones before. The Ranger seems to have a fairly good reputation from what I have read but I'm far from an expert. I'm edging towards the Rodeo tbh. The Ranger looks a smarter truck inside though. I'm in no rush, I want to save as much as possible. Can't be f****d with finance/loan.
  21. Saving up for a truck myself, but as my main vehicle not just a shoot runabout. Rodeo or Ranger for that purpose I'm thinking... Personally I think those older shaped L200s look better than the new shape and never hear anything bad about them other than fuel consumption.
  22. And this is why we have an obesity problem! LOL Snickers are pathetically small these days, but they're still better than any sherbert or licorice concoction.
  23. If the police can't be arsed to match the pellet to the rifle then it's them that want f***ing shooting. Did they even try TB?
  24. I agree, other than that his post was decent.
  25. Well that makes me the worst kind of arsehole. LOL f**k you... And the OP asked wondered why the previous post was removed. This is the trouble and i said in my post that was removed this should be treated like a pub, now if john is in the pub and he is an @rsehole you dont talk to him. if john shoots and constantly misses and makes a mess there are things you can do. If Bob is in the pub and tells a story of how he did this or that then surely in chat you would say well if you did this or that you may find the outcome is better. If you saw a guy in the pub and i stigmatize here, co
