Jigsaw has a belting kelpie grey dog pup left and Keith is fancying a collie grey or summat as a companion/worker. If that ain't fate then I don't know what is! Make it happen folks!

Not quite in line with the OP but the only problem I have with them is that it seems to last for a solid fortnight. Let em off on the fifth or the nearest Saturday and then again on new years eve, any other night just get f****d. I also don't get why they have to be bigger and louder every year. Jesus Christ, there has to come a point when even a tolerant dog will get rattled by them? I'd chip in to blow the commons up any night of the year though...

Government bonds right? Essentially a promise from the government to pay the bearer of the bond the amount it was bought for plus a set amount of interest by a set date in the future. If the government has it's own central bank and control of the currency the bonds are value in then push come to shove they can just print money and pay off all the bonds instantly. That would ruin the system though. Well that's my understanding.

I should f***ing well hope the truck could be driven right up to that thing........ f**k packing that out on foot from the backcountry!

I'll have you know I'm Michelin stared in the world of tick cuisine!
-
Nope. Only used it back end of summer so can't say I've tested it thoroughly but I 100% would have got lodgers without it. So I rate it!

I'll be culling roe does soon and many of them will be carrying fetus's. It's not nice but it don't bother me too much. I'd rather be stalking roe bucks though! LOL Likewise with ticks! They f***ing love dining on my fine flesh the little b*****ds! I soak everything in permethrin now!

Honestly so many people that know me in person just think I'm a mad killer because they don't understand what makes me tick but that right there is part of it. It's so fulfilling being able to harvest and process what you have hunted. But more than that, doing it with knowledge and skill. The little tips and tricks you learn one way or another to make the finished product the best it can be. Everyday is a school day in this game, I love it. It's a ball ache having a load of game to do when you have left it until darkness or it's started raining etc but it wouldn't feel right relying on s

Only way I really eat rabbit is in a stew, which I still consider very good but never really bag any these days. I eat a fair bit of venison in all sorts of ways and I rate hare too (hardly ever bother them in the field mind). I don't particularly rate pheasant, it's sort of dice up for pies or sausage roll materiel imo. But mallard, god that is a beautiful bird! Top class sport and top class eating. And farmed duck is quite possibly my favourite meat...
-
I processed 18 mallard at the weekend and kept the heart from every one. They're beautiful fried in butter. I should have kept the livers but it was too much of a f**k around in the dark. The gizzards are supposed to be good too I believe.

That's so true! The more social it is the better. Not necessarily more people but more social. Like I said before, I want to be stimulated and excited on many different levels. And it's all centred around good food. It's the catalyst.

Love trying new places and new food. I'm not much a fan of dishes that involve a heap of ingredients though, I just want quality simple ingredients that stand alone with minimal fuckery. Not big into Asian stuff for that reason. Atmosphere and setting are as important as the cuisine imo. Eating out, like most things for me, should excite all your senses, not just the obvious one.

The look similar size to our Fallow. Maybe a touch bigger.

None of them in the Commons should sit for more than two terms imo and there shouldn't be any Lords at all! “Lannister, Targaryen, Baratheon, Stark, Tyrell – they're all just spokes on a wheel. This one's on top, then that one's on top, and on and on it spins, crushing those on the ground. I'm not going to stop the wheel. I'm going to break the wheel”

Thank you for the offer mate. But I'm not much of a reader so it'd likely be wasted on me. Cheers though.

And at 11 months. I like this pup so much that Ill hopefully be getting something related next year.

It's coming back! All this election/brexit nonesense got me wanting a hot silver haired wench with three f**k off gret big dragons to march in screaming "DRACARYS!". So anyway, they apparently binned one very bold prequel concept called Bloodmoon that would have been about the children of the forest and their creation of the Night King 5000 yrs before GoT. But they're going ahead with another called House of The Dragon, about the reign of the House of Targaryen. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_of_Thrones#Successor_series I know all the GoT hype died almost

I'm very excited, and I'm not even going!

Not woodcock but flushed my first snipe of the season this morning. A very lively brace off of stubble on this very bright frosty morning. Great way to start the day. -
I've got tons of f***ing pictures! It becomes a bit of a mission finding the right ones. Anyway, yeah buy one! I stalk some ground on chalky/flinty downland and I was getting pissed off with my shouldered rifle crashing off of my shoulder when traversing the terrain. So I bit the financial bullet and bought one of these Vorn Lynx rucksacks. All my kit conveniently packed away, rifle at hand in a couple of seconds, secured very safely at all times until needed. They're VERY well constructed. Two noteworthy points in the interest of giving a fair overview: If you are in thick shitty b

Brilliant bit of kit. I love mine!

I have no doubt there are hundreds of similar anecdotes mate. I still don't believe it makes a difference. Good to hear she is getting on well with her pup all the same.

f***ing hell, I've given you PTSD! No, I get that jig. LOL. I'm just saying I personally would be more drawn to that pup at 3-4 months of age than I would a 7-8 week old litter. I personally don't think those 3rd and 4th months make any difference to the human bond but I think it'd do pups heaps of good to be around their kind for longer.
