Wolf tags are usually bought for the off chance that a wolf is encountered on an elk hunt. Targeting them specifically is probably one of the hardest hunts going so the likelihood of filling your tag is low. At 50 a go for a low chance you can see why they’re not bought.

I thought that they were banned in England?

HULL!..... you poor b*****d! Shall we send help? I’m sure being stuck in hull is considered an emergency by the folks on the end of 999.

I've been feeding mine on a mix of flesh, duck, beef, tripe up until recently. My cockers energy just seemed to hit a cliff edge after 3 hours this winter and I've been scratching my head over it, was at the point of getting vets involved. Anyway started feeding 50/50 harringtons complete and flesh and the dog is flying again. Thank f**k! Hopefully that's it fixed.

Loved playing nine ball when in college. f**k all the skilful English games, the American game is much more enjoyable.

Dependent on licensing authority. A growing number of forces will absolutely flat out refuse to issue or renew without an explicit doctors report.

I remember taking my cocker along on a shoot day when I'd just got him at 10 month old. He looked very timid and lifeless and another spaniel man on there was a bit dubious if he'd make anything. I just said "how many spaniels do you know that have too little 'hunt' in them?". He's f***ing flying now. It's really simple, keep putting game infront of it! You'll have too much dog in no time if ya not careful.

They're running out of ideas given almost everyone knows he’s the devil now. He’s a bit too human now too.

He could be the best dog man in the world but he's got zero class. I'd rather live in ignorance and feel clean for it.

I seem to keep watching The Witcher but not exactly enthralled by it. Got into The Crown but doing Lucifer again for something a bit easier at the mo.

I bet you could have a bloody epic time with a couple of those things wedded to muntjac! Might even be legal if they bail it up for the rifle.

Nah, it's not that, can't find the legislation but I remember looking into it.

Almost certain it's outlawed by the Wildlife and countryside act for freshwater.

Whose going to be the next labour party leader ?
Born Hunter replied to Meece's topic in General Talk
If Labour don't leave Corbyn and his crew to die with the decade then they'll become a non entity in the next one. -

I think a fella like this could really threaten the Tories. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Jarvis A Midlander who has his seat in the North and a veteran of the parachute regiment, some of that time in the Special Forces Support Group. That's altogether more acceptable (even admirable) to the masses than what Corbyn offered. -

Be a polished as f**k blairite sort. -
Just to clarify, I'm pretty sure bowfishing (and spearfishing) in freshwater is illegal.

Woodcock-nice to see them back
Born Hunter replied to tegater's topic in Driven, Walked Up, Rough Shooting
Got out for my first ever woodcock flight this past week, again this morning. Just walking the dogs in the forest local, no gun. Pretty awesome just to watch them tbh. -
I find wolf hunting quite fascinating. A wolf skin rug throw for the bed would be epic! Take a certain rare kind of female to accept that in the bedroom though.

About a hundred quid sounds like a deal to me mate! No rush. Quite happy to have it tanned in it's 'tube skinned' state too (rather than cut down the belly and opened up. It can be ornamentally hung by the nose like in a trappers cabin then.

Depends on the price I guess but yeah. Look nice next to my Tahr skin. It'll just bug me a bit that it wasn't me that harvested it.
-
Do you harvest the skins? I want one.

There's obviously variation from place to place but just think about how many events involve social drinking. How many people you have become friends with that you met or developed you friendship with that involved drinking. How many romantic/sexual relationships were forged around events that involved drinking. How many personal/business opportunities have been through a social drinking event. It's just endless! For some little villages etc the local pub is as central to their lives as the local church is to a Mormon.

What a fine looking animal that is!

Cope or thrive? Exactly, but whether or not you diagnose it as an addiction the importance it has in our collective social, and to a lesser degree business, lives should not be over looked. I think it's such common part of our culture that we often fail to see that and focus on all the ones who couldn't live healthily with it. Also, I think 99% of people, quite naturally, embrace the drinking culture early in life, maybe too much, but ultimately benefit from it by building a strong social base, so when they decide to cut it out or at least cut back the only impact it has on their liv
