  1. I know what you're saying but equally I'm not exactly overflowing with empathy. I don't have much of a choice over paying tax, I have a choice over whether or not I can afford a holiday/night out/flash car to keep up with the Jones's. It's all meaningless anyway. This 'epidemic' will be forgotten by history shortly because it's really f**k all.
  2. Well, COVID-19 might just be the solution! All this '21stC work ya bollocks off' stuff is because we are burdened with tax to pay the pensions and health care of coffin dodgers. They also horde assets and bedrooms! Flatten a heap of them and not only do we have a huge influx of cash to careless 'youths' who'll spunk it on good times but there will be a heap of big houses come onto the market driving prices down, the government will have a massive budget relief from pensions and health care AAAAAAANNNNDDDD there'll be no dithering about in ques at the shops! Oh! And we won't need immi
  3. Well DSUK FB admin must either have me on their black list or just be shite at administration. Any other suggestions folks? Is it worth joining DSD forum or are they funny about folks joining to sell shit too?
  4. South Korea with the most rigorous testing/diagnostics showing a 0.6% fatality rate. That's very interesting!
  5. Personally, something representative of a mature animal of the species. The 'trophy', to me, should partly be an educational artefact of natural history and partly a totem, things we as hunters/outdoorsmen/naturalists surround ourselves with so when we are sat in our civilised world we can instantly connect ourselves to the wild life that we dream of. And they don't have to be just bone, horn or skin. I've got fossils and shells but could equally be a dried wild flower, rock, or photograph. I'd always keep something that was exceptional in some way (like a deformed roe head or 20lb+ fox),
  6. There's a little reduced refrigerated food section that's like that... f***ing savages! The hot deli counter seems far more civilised for some reason.
  7. Oi, look, for less than a quid I can have a Viking feast of chicken drumsticks, bacon ribs, fresh-ish bread cobs and errrrr jam donuts! Some of us are born winners!
  8. 6-7pm at my local morrisons they reduce all of the hot roast deli meats to pennies. f***ing jackot when I find some bacon ribs falling off the bone at 9p a rack!
  9. https://www.livescience.com/new-coronavirus-compare-with-flu.html Good brief read. COVID-19 vs seasonal flu.
  10. That's quite interesting. Looks like his fat protected his internal organs? They say gladiators used to fatten up for the same reason.
  11. f***ing savages!....... Wish we had millions running about causing havoc! Aggressive pigs and guns make for uncomfortable viewing.
  12. You figured it out! I wanted to sound smart when admitting that I was dumb.
  13. I enjoyed that youtube doc you posted Greyman. The development of 3rd Gen vaccines is really interesting. It's out of my intellectual comfort zone but got a vague understanding from it.
  14. An abomination but delicious! HA
  15. Basically how I make mine. Self raising Wholemeal, egg, milk. I save the sugar for the topping.
  16. Choc spread Bacon and syrup Jam Berries and syrup
  17. No, lol. Good news though, China are apparently banning the consumption of wild meat to prevent future epidemics. Certainly won't hurt the conservation of many threatened species!
  18. Yeah I did. I can't really remember my thoughts on it. I think it felt real 'lightweight'. Technology wise though the brand is licensed to use Gore-Tex so that makes it a serious contender to me. The fella who founded Kuiu, originally founded Sitka but didn't like the direction the company was headed so got out and set up Kuiu. A real successful man who incidentally committed suicide a couple years back.
  19. He'd get lost in any of the adults sized jacket then I reckon. Like I said medium is the smallest size in the yukon, it's too big for me and I'm 5'9" and over 70kg.
  20. Tried Deer Stalking UK, who have thousands of members, but not accepting my join request. And you have to be a member of that group before you can join their selling page. Wondered if there was any others folks know of?
  21. Don't be mate, I'm a complete f***ing dick because I tried one on at their trade stand in Dortmund last year and I knew then it was too big if I'm honest! The brand is getting to be the 'must have' now because it's designed for extreme 'hunter athletes', lol, but despite that I genuinely believe that they are more focused on producing the best performing gear than other companies are. I did a fair bit of research on modern hard shell technologies and it came down to Gore-Tex (I swear by GTX), or Toray. The Kuiu (uses Toray) was cheaper than any GTX I could find so went with them.
  22. It's just the fit mate. It's too baggy for me to be happy with. In their other stuff medium fits me perfectly and I wanted a new hard shell so thought f**k it I'll have one of theirs but it's more like a large imo (due to their layering system and it being the outermost layer). I should have just sent it back but didn't. I'll hardly wear it because of the fit so might as well try to move it on and recover some of the money. Tbh if I don't get a sensible price then I'll just hang on to it.
  23. Kuiu Yukon hard shell jacket in medium. No one on here will want it I guarantee but there'll be a ton of folks who feel the need to comment why it's shit, overpriced, the wrong colour, what I should've bought etc etc. Target audience is really going to be lads already wearing kuiu gear in the UK. I've tried joining some of these big FB private selling pages but not getting accepted for various reasons.
  24. I've got a few bits and bobs to sell and want to advertise them in the right place but dunno where's best? It's mostly stalking related. Facebook groups etc? Anyone? ps I doubt anyone on here wants it so just looking for suggestions. Cheers
