    I agree mate but a few years ago I was out lamping near Catterick base. It had been a strange week, the weather had been foul, great for lamping but you could feel the tension in the air all week. We had run a couple of bunnies and then the dog took off after a roe. It started pissing down and we were all wet through looking for the dog. After half an hour we heard some rumbling noise almost like a car pulling onto a car park, at that point i reckoned we would have been somewhere near the racecourse.     That was an egg I never had in my collection way back...my best were guillemot, great crested grebe and nightjar.....unthinkable now but there is still something about holding a wildbird egg in the hand ...

    Feck me even I’m confused now. Gman states he has a body of a leapord to collect when lockdown over, then posts an X-ray........I was assuming to be of said body ?......I’m guessing I’m now wrong about this as he then says it’s a lynx ( think he’s referring to the X-ray pic now)......I posted a pic from a Wales online that shows an X-ray of a shot house cat which in my opinion looks like the same size as Gmans X-ray pic ( I’m going by size of pellets to the carcass).......

    Few years back I went out one morning to feed a couple of pigs I had. Dropped feed into field and saw something stuck out of the Earth they had dug up....now I am not a million miles away from Catterick base and it looked like a pretty big anti aircraft round to me......called cops......”don’t let the pigs touch it “......bomb squad and cops turned up.....turned out to be a tracer round......made safe by bomb squad and daughter wanted to take it to show and tell next day
