    Going to invest in one, just bought a nice lump of topside of beef for a special occasion and want to do it justice....cook in an aga so it’s always a bit out with the timings ?

    Yes mate,same here, took nearly a month to germinate !.....spent a fortune on the seed and thought ‘feck me none of it is going to come up! ‘.......patience grasshopper, patience.......

    This is the first year I’ve put any thought into the state of the lawn. Got a mate with a digger to flatten the area under the trees, tons of topsoil and then seeded it. It doesn’t get a lot of sun but am happy for now.....have fed the main lawns this summer and hoping the new area will come on next spring when it has a bit more light on it before the leaves come out !

    I know it mate, my Mrs worked at Bivouac which is part of the set up....like you say stunning part of the world something for everyone who is keen on dogs, shooting, fishing etc.

    Tunnel looking good mate, ive just picked this load of peaches out of mine today, tree is 20 year old now and produces loads.

    Pic is way too chunky for Harrier, the standout feature is the big white arse on HH......great birds to see mind, I’m up the west coast tomorrow to a spot that has them..

    Few bops will take swallow/Martin......hobby, maybe the odd lucky sprawk.....both fairly shy and tree nesters......answers there I reckon ?
