    I was at a BBQ last weekend, Darryl, and had a very similar conversation with a woman who had exactly that mind-set. The only folk I'll take a little stick from is vegans (not veggies) as at least they've got the balls to go with their fecked up morals.

    its not big enough in there mate, i went there a few years ago to see LIMEHOUSE LIZZIE and they slagged it off when they played the Irish Centre It is a bit of a dive, Jack, but honestly if you get the chance to see this lass then do. I'm quite into my music and I used to play the guitar (badly...) but she's something else. I've never heard anyone play quite like she does. I've seen Limehouse Lizzie at the Roscoe.     Right then I've coppied and pasted Stefaan's PM to me (below) as it's well within forum rules, IMO. So all you need to do to make a Lighting perform as claimed is to follow these steps (without useing an FAC rated kit of course unless you hold one ). Read on...... A VENOM kit from Steve Pope (fac ofcourse) Recrowning the barrel, all the burs (that's the word I think) removed... Polishing the triggergroup.... I don't say it's a weapon like my Steyers but for his price it's a damn good weapon then... Stefaan Edit to add (by me).... Thanks for taking the time to reply, Stefaan.

    ended up up getting a BSA XL tactical i must say so far im pleased with it. I just sold a Tuned XL wich is awsome.... Shoots perfect groups at 75 and 100 meter... Tuned by who? God? Myself mate.... It's a second profession for me... We are allowed to have air weapons without any restriction about power... Ask Secretagentmole overhere and a few others such as Phill, BSA rifles etc... They all know me and some of them personaly... If you can get that performance from a Spanish built Lightning then my hat is well and truly off to you, Sir. Even at the U

    Interesting... If birds do navigate partly by using electro-magnetic fields as is thought, I wonder if all the man made EM such as power stations confuse their navigation, and how strong is the Earth's magnetic field is in relation to them Strongbow does make one think

    BASC all the way for me. It's the most recognised and respected plus they're not just an insurance company, they look after country sports like no other UK organisation. As for schools, if it's council forget it, but private schools may be worth a go.

    Superdomes would be a good starting point, but I don't know about the JSBs etc. being no good for a .177 springer. My mate has a Diana 52 on ticket that spits them out at over 1200fps with no problems at all. An extremly accurate pellet from that gun

    Never work with family or mates if you can help it, it nearly always ends badly. Whatever you say to them they take personally in a way that a stranger won't. I've helped mates out quite a few times and with only one exception it's ended badly. Never again.
