  1. Was your dog covered in mites and fleas before hunting ? How many rats did you's kill and was it yesterday ? Just wondering, because it's not something that flairs up in an hour or two. My advice = Have a barrel of sheep dip in the yard 24/7 and the next morning after hunting give them a dip.
  2. I like that quote "it's no different to taking a selfie with a steak". Well done that girl.
  3. I've just read that Eddie was born in Belfast. Is that true ?
  4. Indeed ye will. You'd drink it out of a dirty welly ,so you would.
  5. Four and a half hours ????????????Who was your passenger ? Miss Daisy ? I thought you boys in the North didn't know how to drive slow ,LOL. I remember the Sweep Bar show, it went on for 15 or 16 years. The Sweep Bar show and the Tandragee Show will probably go down as the best shows ever ran in Ireland. I still have a video my brother took of Tandragee where there's nearly 30 dogs in the Wheaten class. That's something that might never be seen again. There was a breakfast a coffee and 2 piss stops threw in there as well maybe that held us up lol. Yeah was down at it a few times good sho
  6. Beefy's a good one, he's always been on our side and fair play to him for saying not to listen to Cwis Packham.
  7. A few pints ? We're not going for only an hour, we're going for a couple of days. A few pints is what I have for breakfast. And when I go to England I drink Real Ale. When in Rome, LOL.

  10. OK, can be good enough to grace any mans yard. Nice birds.
  11. Great way to rear chicks if they're safe. Can't see the legs on the cock, what breeding ?
  12. OK, he's a beauty. By the way, if he makes the grade I want full credit. If he doesn't then blame the hoor that bred him, LMAO.
  13. Is he one of the pups you got of that hoor who's unfortunately a friend of mine ???????????

  15. There's a hunting man in the North who with his small pack of hounds and lurchers accounts for 3 or 4 hundred foxes each season and if I remember correctly I think he told me a few years back that he had 30 out of roofs one year. assuming he would he have guns with him too Neil? I haven't hunted with them for a few years but always thought they had a gun or two out for those corners not suitable for a lurcher.
  16. He was caught in a trap.
  17. I had a mouse once called Elvis. But he died.

  19. We put a fox into a farm shed stacked full of bales with harriers around 10 years ago,ran my terrier bitch who was hard and heard no more for a while.the grey box we had then didn't seem to work in the bales so we listened and one of the lads thought he heard something so we went down from the top, these were small square bales.the bitch had him caught at floor level and when we got down he was dead but she was fuked, which wasn't her normal form. The heat inside was savage and it was hard for us to draw breath never mind the terrier.the outcome that day was good but it could of easily been bad,t
  20. After seeing a video on face book where lads were bolting foxes from round straw bales using Jagd Terriers it dawned on me I haven't done that in years. Does anyone do it now ? We never took it seriously and often ended a days digging by having a bit of craic by bolting one or two for a lurcher / gun or just to watch him run into the distance and thank God we never had a problem. I remember climbing upon to a stack six bales high one time and there was scat on top of it and after that I regularly used them to account for a few. The last few years round bales are rare but would love to hear
  21. Much better than the so called "beer traps". Imagine wasting beer on slugs ?????????????????????
  22. Not really going to do much against any bird, chilli peppers evolved to be eaten by birds alone as a way of spreading their seeds, the heat is to stop mammals eating them and chewing the seeds. Birds are unaffected by capsaicin.. A lot of folk will tell you that to stop a hen eating her eggs fill an egg with chilli and she'll stop. It doesn't work for the reasons you've just described.
  23. The best thing for nettles IMO is ,like ourselves, to get use to them and build up immunity.
  24. When I seen the title of this topic I thought it was another "Booth" thread. I've had a 4 month old pup die from Lungworm around 10 years ago and it wasn't nice and the vet didn't know much about it at the time. Next thing you know Lungworm was being called the next dog killer. But it never really happened with just the odd case being heard of. But what you're talking about seems to be an epidemic. I use Parazole as it does "Slugworm" and leave no food or bones out overnight as you'll see the silvery slime trail over it the next morning.
  25. f****n' hell, I nearly spilt my Guinness all over my spuds when I read about those stereotypical woman pilots.
