Totally agree....an older brother type friend of mine swears by it he calls it the Highway Code to living a decent life and points me in the direction of certain passages from time to time.... though ive never gone cover to cover with it theres some interesting stuff in there.

Ive got a few questions for you mate....in no particular order. Do you book anybody with any kind of faith/belief whatsoever as a Christian ? Surely the very essence of atheism is that you dont believe any type of God exists so why do you want to know so much about God ? You seem very determined and tenacious in your pursuit of answers.....why dont you ask some kind of Theologist or go to church or something....im sure a vicar would give you better and clearer answers than a bunch of blokes on a hunting forum...no ?

Lovely that is Bird,looks a cheeky little fella...the first haircut is a landmark moment i love taking the kids even if they're not mine ? I love watching the way they engage with the kids,none of that pinning them to the chair stuff like we had as kids !...its nice watching the start of a loyal and fun friendship,having a laugh with the lairy young teenagers my grandson has made so many pals at the barbers of all ages its important " boy stuff " ive always thought.

If you know there is no god like you know Monday follows Sunday then taking pride in knowing the days of the week to me is ambulance time mate sorry. You asking why folk have a certain amount of faith is like me asking you why you love your wife its personal to you alone. You're coming across as someone who has either had a very bad experience down to religion or someone just trying too hard to overpower people with atheism......ive always found something very strange about atheists with such intense passion/enthusiasm/borderline obsession for something they dont believe exists.

What i dont understand is why you see believing or not believing almost like " taking sides "......and something to be " proud " of, like an achievement of some kind.....im a West Ham fan from East London im proud of that,im proud of the area,proud of the people and proud of the football club......but being proud in the possibility that God exists ???....thats possibly one of the strangest things ive ever heard ! I will never understand why non believers continually think there has to be an earner out of " belief ".......surely the whole essence of " belief " is that you dont need bribes or reward you just believe because you do.....or can only nice people " believe " ?

Great to watch,probably one of the most exciting fighters in the divisions history.....but just lacked too much to ever be called a great fighter for me.....over the years ive come to respect the way he always turned up to have a fight....win or lose he was coming to put it all out there and let the chips fall,so to speak.

You have probably made my point for me mate....am i " proud " to be a Christian ?.....no,why would i be " proud " ?....and thats what i find so bizarre about this whole absolute,categorical and forceful stance people like you take on the subject i mean people who believe Monday follows Sunday dont need to be proud of it or even explain it let alone shout it from the rooftops. Im not totally convinced but i have a certain faith in God and thats good enough.

I have this conversation all the time mate and i have to say i respectfully disagree with you....." lads like us " are not old hat they are becoming more and more,yes many are a slightly more toned down version but as an example this last year of BLM nonsense gets old Ted & Vera into a mindset that isnt too dissimilar to our own......from old people to housewives to everyday working chaps the constant brainwashing that everybody who owns a television set is subjected to is having far greater effect than any of that old leafletting nonsense.....there are currently more far right groups in t

I get it but " proud "....really ? I know its Monday tomorrow,im totally 100% sure it is...but it doesnt make me proud to know that. And you see thats what i dont get with that attitude.....ive never met a Christian who had great desire to convince non believers and so i just dont understand why some non believers have such desire to convince believers they are stark raving bonkers for believing different to them.....its like they constantly have something to prove that believers dont have i often wonder who it is they are actually trying to convince themself or others.

All im talking about mate is the numbers.....those numbers i quoted are facts that white flight such as yourself ( all due respect etc ? ) either doesnt seem or want to acknowledge.......and as ive said to you before,where to after that....how long till lads like us have to stop running and stand and fight so to speak.
