I couldnt travel at the time but a lucky chap off this forum was a hop,skip and a jump away from this match last year....for me this cemented Levan as number 1....i actually thought Laletin would beat him.

Yes that was arranged a while ago i thought it was mid May but i might be wrong.....hard as it is to say as he,s been a magnificent ambassador for the sport but i dont think Devon will ever get back to number 1 you just cant keep going to the well year after year like that,injury after injury.Personally i dont think either Todd or Larratt could realistically compete with Levan i dont see anybody in the world breaking through his wrist and back pressure at the moment....infact id go as far as to say Todd/Larratt would have to be at their very best to be beating the likes of Vitaley Laletin/Kost

Reg Gutteridge you mean ?....absolutely,my ol fella knew him years ago he was a fascinating man you could sit and chat to for hours and not get bored he is so sorely missed as a commentator he brought humour along with unbelievable knowledge and an interesting way of articulating himself. Regards that Hagler/Hearns first round you made a good point Greb....Hagler was a mans man ive referred back to that fight so many times over the years chatting with young lads about character and facing your fears i still think Hearns expected Hagler to back off in that first round but the look Hagler g

Anyone can get knocked down Sid i get what the lads saying Fury has never been backed up and pressured even by Wilder.....Wilder is a sniper type he,s going to ping you with single shots not come after you he doesnt have the footwork or general ability to close distance and walk you down.

A friend of a friends daughter has just moved into one of these " Affordable Housing " homes in a place called Shelley,Ongar which has always been an affluent rural area near me.....she came out of a run down flat on a council estate in Canning Town paying 50 quid a week rent.....she now lives in a newly built 375k semi but hey its ok because her housing benefit has gone up by £210 per week and there is now a family of Sudanese immigrants living in her old flat......everyones a winner eh

Hard to say really mate i think if Joshua fully commits to going after Fury he,ll stop him.....but if he gets into a chess match i think he,ll lose....the obvious call is Joshua early or Fury late but its heavyweight boxing anything can happen.

It will always come back to the same problem of a straight arm for one puller might not be a straight arm for another do you know the Kings Move is not allowed in amateur arm wrestling,not because of gaining any advantage but simply because of the dangerous position you are putting your arm in....but in pro arm wrestling the consensus is that you have the right to break your arm. Totally agree it has to be enforced the same across the board.

I disagree i tend to believe the competitive instinct all fighters have means that deep down they want the very best fights out there....but the reality is your manager is there to guide you through your career making the most money with the least risk......For me Wilder is undoubtedly the best managed fighter in recent times and Fury isnt far behind.....when you look at their records Joshua has had far more meaningful fights than the other two put together but with that comes more miles on the clock so naturally Fury has wanted to hold off a Joshua fight as long as possible....its just good m
