I will never understand why non believers continually think there has to be an earner out of " belief ".......surely the whole essence of " belief " is that you dont need bribes or reward you just believe because you do.....or can only nice people " believe " ?

Great to watch,probably one of the most exciting fighters in the divisions history.....but just lacked too much to ever be called a great fighter for me.....over the years ive come to respect the way he always turned up to have a fight....win or lose he was coming to put it all out there and let the chips fall,so to speak.

You have probably made my point for me mate....am i " proud " to be a Christian ?.....no,why would i be " proud " ?....and thats what i find so bizarre about this whole absolute,categorical and forceful stance people like you take on the subject i mean people who believe Monday follows Sunday dont need to be proud of it or even explain it let alone shout it from the rooftops. Im not totally convinced but i have a certain faith in God and thats good enough.

I have this conversation all the time mate and i have to say i respectfully disagree with you....." lads like us " are not old hat they are becoming more and more,yes many are a slightly more toned down version but as an example this last year of BLM nonsense gets old Ted & Vera into a mindset that isnt too dissimilar to our own......from old people to housewives to everyday working chaps the constant brainwashing that everybody who owns a television set is subjected to is having far greater effect than any of that old leafletting nonsense.....there are currently more far right groups in t

I get it but " proud "....really ? I know its Monday tomorrow,im totally 100% sure it is...but it doesnt make me proud to know that. And you see thats what i dont get with that attitude.....ive never met a Christian who had great desire to convince non believers and so i just dont understand why some non believers have such desire to convince believers they are stark raving bonkers for believing different to them.....its like they constantly have something to prove that believers dont have i often wonder who it is they are actually trying to convince themself or others.

All im talking about mate is the numbers.....those numbers i quoted are facts that white flight such as yourself ( all due respect etc ? ) either doesnt seem or want to acknowledge.......and as ive said to you before,where to after that....how long till lads like us have to stop running and stand and fight so to speak. Decent arm wrestler Scot Mendleson not sure how old he is now but must be well into his 50's i'll never understand the attraction of lifting to your max at this age you're just asking for an uncomfortable post sport life.

Nah dont like that one mate bit tacky....same as them desk plaque things they almost look a bit gimmicky. I quite like the weathered/aged look of this one it seems to " fit " the house and just looks smart i think.

84% of the worlds population identifies with a religious group.....of which 2.3 billion people in the world identify as Christian. Just out of curiosity mate what makes you " proud " to call God a fake ?....ive never quite understood that one.

Fascinating stuff really....must admit ive never quite been able to wrap my nut around the difference between adaptation and evolution or whether one simply leads to the other....but its interesting learning for the 10 - 15 minutes before my head feels like its going to explode ?

I was always under the impression that micro evolution was change within a species and macro evolution was change from one species to another....at the risk of getting laughed at i tend to side with Francies thoughts on these types of exchanges but am happy to say its a " i dont really know " one for me.

That'll be lads doing the circle walk at Hmp Hollesley Bay f****n with them ?......if you're on good behaviour in there you get to do the evening walk right round the site,takes you virtually onto the beech its the best 45 minutes of the day and a good giggle in the right company ?

I couldnt watch it i find it all so hypocritical when we go all history & tradition for a day.....only to go back to being forcefully repulsed and ashamed for the other 364 days of the year !
