Its a terrible time to be buying them sort of gaffs at the moment mate especially if you have renovation in mind....unless you're sending your own builders out Greeks wont lift a finger this time of year they all creep off and become waiters in the summer ? ( normal summers anyway )....it all just becomes a chicken and egg situation. I had a decent place in Cyprus but just wasnt using it enough so sold it and got somewhere smaller,now because of all this Covid caper we cant use it anyway and have ended up doing a long term rental.....to a Cypriot !! Its a tricky one with Brighton theres a lovely fish restaurant smack bang in the middle of the pier and a nice pub setting right up on the harbour........but the risk of getting seen by someone you know makes for a real conundrum.

I dont really look at all that to be honest though i did see the big Game of Thrones fella getting decked in the ring by someone he looked terrible i dont know why these chaps need to try crossing sports and embarrass themselves just enjoy your career and when its over its over.......as you say money talks.

As i remember didnt Magnus Ver Magnuson used to test a lot of the events/equipment....seems a bad do that,poor organisation. Whos likely to win it then mate whos your money on ?......i only recognise a few names them Scots boys did well the other year as i remember....surely there must be some little Polish nutcase running round making everyone look silly ? there usually is ?

I dont really keep up with the strongman stuff but i know Lawrence Shahley ( spelling ? ) has been making noises about competing in arm wrestling recently i dont know if he's still doing strongman....from what i remember of him he'll have the hand and wrist to do well but wont stand a chance at the higher levels without a good few years experience and specific training i know he had a bad lat tear a few years back and thats a vital area for arm wrestling.....similar to Eddie Hall who made a load of noise about taking on the world middleweight champion Rob Vincent but came to nothing when he re

I always liked an old Muhammad Ali quote for such decisions...." Those who are unwilling to take risks will accomplish nothing ".......a normal " safe " 9 to 5 life suits some people and they do fine on it...its about knowing your own personality and characteristics....personally i wouldnt of lasted 5 minutes doing " safe " living i havent got the whole " work hard " attributes for a start.....its all about being honest with yourself i think.....good luck whatevr you decide.

Had a conversation with a very respected old trainer last week and it typified the state of heavyweight boxing for me when i asked him who he thought will eventually come out on top in the division and he said " i really couldnt care less heavyweight boxing is finished "........i came away feeling quite sad that after all these years we've craved British success and as soon as we've got it we've f****d it all up !

Not really no they are firends out of the same gym. I dont particularly rate Joshua either....i dont rate any of them but they all have their qualities and one of Joshuas qualities is something Fury has never seen before.....Joshua has good front foot pressure and nobody has ever pressed Fury before,no of course Joshua cant win off the back foot but can Fury win off the front foot ?....he doesnt possess stopping power and doesnt hold a great shot....add to that Joshua is a good finisher and regardless of who you like its an interesting fight as most boxer/brawler scenarios are.

Im probably being a bit naive mate but do people really trash benches in remote spots that are clearly in remembrance of somebody,i find that hard to believe.....in the big cities yes maybe but the Welsh Valleys ?

Nice idea that....or what about a bench put on a nice scenic spot he frequented. We lost someone very close some years back and me and his son carried a bench miles to a spot we both liked.....me and the lad sometimes go and sit there its almost like we're all back together again....bit morbid but comforting in a strange kind of way.

Dubois has all the tools but for me will always be too mentally fragile to reach the very top....an over protective father ruling his life doesnt help , he,s a shy timid young man who would be a much better athlete if left to concentrate purely on boxing instead of panicking over what cool shit to say in interviews....shame for the lad really and i hope im wrong.

As soon as i see someone use the term " went life and death " i know they are a Fury fan and not a boxing fan ? The reality is that Fury has improved a lot since he got away from the idiots around him and now utilises his size advantages instead of going in trying to have a fight with opponents.....but take those size advantages away and he's domestic level. Personally i couldnt give a shit who wins i prefer Joshuas style simply because as a neutral with no vested interest in either, his kill or be killed approach is far more entertaining than Furys safety first hit and hoppit stuff.

Fury does not have a good chin he just has good powers of recovery.....a good finisher will.....well...finish him. Fury is not comfortable fighting on the front foot and Joshua is not comfortable fighting off the back foot....it could be said Fury is made for Joshua as long as Joshua puts it on him from the start. Those " poor " fighters Joshua took belts off are far superior fighters to every opponent Fury has faced apart from Klitchsko and Wilder....though even Wilder would be debatable.

Thats just silly talk mate if you are one of these obsessed Fury fans then so be it theres no point talking about sport with folk who are devoted to people. Joshua is world class but limited,Wilder is powerful but terrible and Fury refuses to fight meaningful fights so who knows. Joshuas resume makes the other 2 look ridiculous and ultimately no fighter should be given credit for not fighting.
