That’s right when you have to go out the weather is irrelevant you just dress accordingly but I do like to keep an eye on it especially at the moment it’s so out of character to have the rain we are having in August.
-
You keeper lads heard of this weather site I use it in my line of work it’s accurate within five to ten minutes I’ve used it for years. https://www.netweather.tv/live-weather/radar

I haven’t heard that one but I get to hear loads of poor communications and sometimes it’s basic stuff and still people get it wrong.

I still remember where I come from when I was on the cranes I used to always help all my old pway mates out, and now if I attend an incident where a bit of graft is needed I get stuck in, I’m a Mom now ( Mobile Operations Manager ) so life is a lot easier but obviously a lot more responsibility best job I’ve had on the railway and I’ve moved about a bit.

Cen60 even heavier than 113 pound sod all that I remember after a hard shift every muscle and sinew used to ache keeps you fit and strong as long as you can avoid injury but as said on this thread previously people don’t warm up.
-
@foxdropper are you a p-way man on the railway, If you are second in line to the welders who are first in line for bad backs, I am ex pway and we used to move switches crossings 60 foot rails with sometimes just 5 men the amount of blokes I know on the railway with knackered backs is unreal, I’ve seen all the bravado stuff look at me I’ve got a sleeper on each shoulder and i tell them knock it on the head you will suffer in the long run and when you’ve been on a long while you see the same blokes hobbling about years later. Ive done various jobs on the railway and most were graft but the

When I go shooting in damp conditions I like to lie on the ground to take my shots But without fail a couple of days later I end up with back spasms in my lumber and a really painful ache around the muscles in my lower back, the doctors call it non specific lower back pain in other words we are not quite sure what it is. For the last 6 months everyday without fail I’ve been doing press ups I started on about 20 then worked up to 40 where I am now straight off no sets just 40 and also I’ve been using an Abs wheel for something so cheap and simple I can’t believe how much this combined with

I must admit my wife would move abroad to somewhere hot in an instant I think I would be bored I’d miss the seasons good beer and cider, although this country is going down the Karsey who is to say it’s going to be better anywhere else. @Ted Newgent I’ve met a lot of Canadians on my travels I even got a shout on French speaking Rock radio show in Quebec from some relatively famous DJ out there good people overall and man they love a drink I’ve got a good buddy in Oakville Toronto who is a captain for our equivalent of the RNLI, Canada is a place that does appeal to me and what it is with

The Great man still doing it in his own special way.......

Middle Ages for me between the 5th and 15th centuries so that I could die a glorious death on the battlefield one load of blokes one side another the other a load of shouting and hollering and then bosh meet in the middle go mental with a sword mace whatever takes your fancy and then maybe survive but more than likely die.

And in my opinion the best ever mega drive game has to be PGA golf, hole 17 sawgrass only a real man birdies Alcatraz lol. I have never played any other video game and I’ve still got the mega drive the Jap version that took all cartridges the pissed nights have had with mates playing tournaments on that I could write a book about lol...

Sounds like you live in a lovely place Arry, when I come down I always without fail travel over the moor from Moretonhampstead over towards Tavistock and then follow the A390 into Cornwall I always say the journey is as important as the destination no M4/M5 for me. In regards to a comment Dytkos made about tables my local part of the Greene King chain had a safe table every other table they binned that off after a week I was in last night for a bit of grub taking advantage of the half price thing going on and every thing was back to normal apart from no service at the bar which has been r

I’ve just got back from Charlestown Poldark setting it was a nice place but Friday night the amount of kids running around puking falling over and general pissedness was unreal. I visited the Lost Gardens of Heligan which was ok and visited Mevagissey which I would have preferred to stay with hindsight, and whilst there I’m sure I walked past Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall it was a Jethro Tull T-shirt he was wearing that caught my eye and I thought hello it’s him lol with his family. Overall bloody expensive best part of £500 to stay in a pub for 3 nights and the amount of money spent w

To be honest I’ve just watched this and I’ve a mixture of rage and depression what are we doing just rolling over and letting this happen the first part was only a few decades ago, and the second part is obviously now I’ve worked in these shit holes so I am more than aware what’s going on. What amazes me is they go to incredible lengths to get here then want to destroy and smash the place up who is going to lead us out of this me, you or is there going to be a movement that gathers momentum that it can’t be stopped ? I do know one thing it will be sorted but it’s going to get a lot worse

In a way it’s like bubble gum in hair an ice cube used to harden it up and it used to crack and break off I’d use an ice cube costs nothing and won’t harm the dog at all and if it don’t work nothing lost but if it works you’ve won the pools lol ?.
