On 12 hour shifts all weekend waiting for incidents to happen that never did continuously pushing the try again button, devastated doesn’t even nearly capture the loss I was feeling I missed my imaginary friends lol.... ?

I’m getting a direct link to general talk on an iPad when I hit forums it just goes to a white page with nothing, it’s been playing up for around about two weeks but today’s been the worse day.

Keith your not pathetic and your not rambling your grieving hang in there mate there’s a lot of people on here who have got your back, and this forum is a good outlet to get things off your chest talking about stuff is a positive step imagine if you bottled things up it would be a thousand times worse, enjoy your grub at this unearthly hour I’m up too not by choice though get yourself out for a walk today it will do you good.

Got to say if I was stuck on a desert island with anyone off of here we wouldn’t starve lol some really impressive food pics keep em coming lads I love it.

Mixed emotions about today’s Brisket adventure it was nice but I cooked it for 7 hours expecting it to be super soft and tender but I think for the size of the cut I smoked I should have smoked it for less time still a nice bark crust and my smoke halo was evident but next time less time in the smoker.

Kanny mate I never put an egg in boiling water I use an old fashioned egg poacher the plastic egg holders I heavily grease with butter then drop my eggs in and then I put the water in the bottom not too much as you don’t want it to boil over onto the eggs then I gently simmer not to fast as they go hard and then they have to pass my wobble test a little shake and I know they are ready then they just fall out as you see them in the pics, my sons have been trying to beat me at making them like this for years but there dad still kicks there arses lol...

It’s a Great bit of kit Odin you can use it as a BBQ you can hang meat in and you can do two cooks at the same time as it has two grills and there’s a water pan as big as a washing up bowl that permeates moisture into the meat, half way through the cook I will put Whisky chips in there and that gives good flavour and a nice smoke Halo on the meat here’s a couple of pics of last year some Beef Ribs see the halo lol I love it. I’d invite you all for tea but you would all eat and drink me out of house and home lol...

Here’s the smoker waiting for a 7 hour cook up tomorrow. Nice Nice bit of Brisket I will get at least 3 cooks out of this. Here’s a piece covered in my home made rub ready for an early start in the smoker in the morning. The Bark on this will be amazing can’t wait I will put up some pics when it’s done.

The day started off good with a breakfast of champions avocado on a bed of aromatic salad with a nice poached egg. Then this afternoon a little BBQ for me and the wife waiting for the big one tomorrow I’ve got a nice bit of brisket covered in a home made rub waiting to go in my smoker. Loving the good weather while it lasts.

Yes... I’m a shift worker and I’ve seen people die in the middle of the night but you can’t report a death for a few bragging rights, Every one knows on here Socks is the Chief death reporter AKA grim reaper keep up the good work. A bit like Katchum is Chief piss taker and wind up merchant ?.

That’s the trouble it’s not Black and White and it should be, I believe if I was to go out and got pulled which to be honest is unlikely it’s then at the discretion of the officer making the challenge as to why you are out, every officer will have a different perspective, it’s just not worth the hassle to be honest, I can understand how you feel and every individual has to make their own choices hence why I don’t get involved in the criticism of people who do go out.

I sent an email to my Firearms licensing asking if they could confirm if it is ok to shoot pests alone whilst protecting crops and this was the reply I got.

Beautiful part of the world lol being an East Ender I was very familiar with the area, tell you where I did used to visit a pet shop down the Old Kent Road called Stockbull Pets, I think the bloke who owned it was called Graham he had an impressive Bulldog called Stockbull Big Ben, I had a pup out of him different world down there now.

Oh right I see I thought it was the other way round Breaking Bad was excellent what I like about better call Saul it’s like two stories that run side by side which overlap I like the Mike character.

I really like it but I watched Breaking Bad ages ago and better call Saul is before then should have watched Saul first, I don’t know what episode your on so I won’t spoil anything but I will say one thing Chuck is an arsehole lol...

The actual last film I watched was the Irishman wasn’t De Niro’s best I thought. But I’ve binged watched the whole of Narcos recently the actor who played Pablo Escobar was incredible, I also followed it up with Narcos Mexico that was good and now I’m watching better call Saul which is before Breaking Bad. If people haven’t watched Gommarah watch it sub titles but worth it one of the actors was in the headlines with his poor deceased sister at his home awaiting removal of her body due to this virus.

I reckon my Mrs definitely had it just after Christmas I put it down to a 13 hour flight we had because everybody was coughing and spluttering on it, I thought no more of it then she was ill for about four weeks bad fever no snotty nose but the worse cough ever so bad her face was red and her eyes watering and she could hardly breathe I had nothing at all strange. If a test comes out to see if we’ve had it definitely going to get tested. And our local Tesco’s tonight no meat no veg no milk bread sugar and booze at a minimum cleaning products forget it that’s me done with the big stor
