Good news on the job mate pleased to hear it New Year new beginning, as for getting that close to a pheasant I was onto a brace the other day they clocked me put there heads down and legged it at what looked fifty mph lol one evaporated and the other one burst out of rape seed cover if only I had my shotgun it would have been easy I was less than 20 yards on it I had the rimfire though ?.

It was just a matter of time before the bubble burst and the pups started heading for the rescue centres but some of the greedy b*****ds are still asking thousands for 7/9 month old pups I would never pay the prices being asked. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9109495/Hundreds-pets-abandoned-owners-bought-pandemic-struggle-cope.html

I used to have a rough coated black fell she was very prey driven good to have about but unfortunately I lost her at 5 years old. Thats a lovely looking Border Bitch you put up earlier good coat for the type of hunting you do that’s the sort of dog I would be interested in, years ago I used to follow a hunt and help out the terrier man he used to use one for digging and it was quite a strong hard type like you said it was a slow starter but once it knew it’s job there was no stopping it.
-
If I was to get something I would be after a dog pup to start from scratch mainly for bushing mooching about Ive been thinking about it for a while now I’ve got a few years before I retire I was going to wait till then but a lot of my hunting is on my own be nice to have a bit of company Billy no mates ?.

If your external you have to apply through the NWR website MIO is mobile incident officer which is part of the EIU emergency intervention unit I’m not sure if they are nation wide but definitely south east the southern and London areas. There are tests psychometric ect but mainly common sense and how you handle yourself in stressful situations ect.
-
I told you before go for one of the MIO jobs Mon-Friday no on call or weekends same as a Mom but your paired up with a Btp Officer never a dull moment as well I would go for it but I like working on my own.

I’ve worked it out to be around 86p a pint when I bought over 100 pints he’s very generous when he fills the barrels right to the brim when your in there buy some of his cheese the Stilton is amazing even better get some one to drive you there and you can have a drink and listen to some of his stories and have a look at his Banksy on the wall, some famous folk have turned up there there can’t be many places like it left in the U.K. it’s like going back in time.

I love all those old traditions, I’ve always wanted to blast out the Glorious Om Riff by Steve Hillage at the top of Glastonbury Tor I think it would be suitable lol. As for the Scrumpy I’m a big fan I make my own in small batches but I visit this chap at least twice a year and fill up a few five gallon barrels ? http://wilkinscider.com/

Glastonbury is an interesting place with a lot of strange and unusual types I was there a couple of years ago and there was a wizard just casually walking down the road speaking to the floor whilst I was sat out side a pub having a pint, 45 miles I would have been tempted to go for the experience
