A woman fairly local to me has MND and is rapidly fading. Her own mother died of MND at 62 so she knows what is coming. She wants to go to Dignitas to end her life with some dignity. To that end her daughters had set up a fund raising evening to raise the money needed. However an Anti assisted suicide charity complained to the police and they were forced to cancel the evening or face being charged with assisting a suicide. Where the fucck do these anti every fuccking thing people live? Not in this world thats for sure. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3164220/Daughters-force

When i visited betws y coed[spelling?] in snowdonia everybody in the pub started speaking exclusively welsh as soon as we walked in. Dont think the english are too popular in that neck of the woods. Don't flatter yourself, as they were speaking Welsh before you came in. You were just not there to hear it. Welsh is far from being a dead language, try and get a kid into a Welsh school, waiting lists, people even moving to get into the catchment areas. TC

There was a stall at the 2014 Welsh game fair promoting their release in mid Wales. I spoke to them at length and apparently they cannot catch the red squirrels as they are too heavy, the red are light and able to get out further on the branches than grey squirrels. The Martens are too heavy to follow them. TC

I thought I would do a post on how I make my wooden Norwegian type netting needles. I use whatever hard woods I have. Oak is my favourite with Ash a close second. I have made them from Iroko, Sapele, and even Igdobo although that did not last long. I start off with a blank trimmed to the correct size. Then cut the edges of the channels. Next I drill a hole at the top of the channels, route out the channels and shape the outer bit of the nose of the needle. The next step is to cut out the inside of the nose of the needle. The next step is to finish t

Dear Vin, My father always told me, "Never marry a beautiful woman always marry an ugly one, then if someone is stupid enough to take her off you, who cares?" I disregarded that advice and now I am worried, do you think that after 35 years she will leave me? TC

Right then, I'll be honest......I got amongst that many birds when I was a young bloke upto the age of 24 that it would have made a Paris pimp blush, 3 or 4 different every week. I liked women, I got on with women and I still do. When I met my wife I was burned out in my soul, I was ready to meet her in my mind. That women has given me 4 wonderful kids, I was never a 9 to 5 bloke so she has put up with some shit and never once not supported me........I love the woman with all my heart and wild horses wouldn't make me hurt her in any way.......especially for the sake of something I have d

My view encourage the birds back and they will bring the fish naturally. Then the ones that thrive are suitable for the water. TC

Stick to the well for the time being..... I'm quite high up where I am, don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing but I'm guessing further to drill so higher the price. Not necessarily, it depends on how deep the water table is and what the rock structure is. When I googled it earlier all the firms that done it would not give a quote as there are so many variables to take into account. Edited to add: If your using a well then the water table cannot be that deep. TC

I am not a boxing fan, but there are some comments on here that have me thinking that lot of others are in the same boat as me. The boxer is British, as such he deserves the support of British boxing fans. If he was to win and become champion how many would like to bask in his glory. I wonder? TC You dont deserve support you earn it I would beg to differ, representing your country in any sport no matter the level deserves support. Now respect is a different matter entirely, that you most certainly have to earn. TC

Still Think There Was A Clear Choice Between Cameron & Milliband ??
Tiercel replied to WILF's topic in General Talk
Dont spend that extra £1.54 a week all at once! I can remember when you could have a night out, a packet of fags,a fish supper on the way home, two new suits, a pair of boots and a stone of monkey nuts......and still have change out of £1.54 !Those were t'days eh lad? We used to dream of having £1.54........ (That's more than I used to get for a 7 day paper round !) I used to do a six day evening paper round for 12/6 a week and 2/6 of that went on the shooting times every week. Those were the days a pint of Whitbred trophy was 1/1P and a pint of CPU in the rugby club was 11p. 3 pint -

Spot on! DC supports hunting but most likely knows that a vote for a complete overturn won't end in a positive result. Any move in this direction is a bonus. The anti/pro hunting argument is one that will out live all of us, there will never be an easy resolution to it so we need to expect only small victories as a best case scenario. Worse case is labour get in again and manage to put further nails in the coffin of field sports Then why the free vote? Get them under the whip and to tow the party line. That's how it was passed in the first place, that and an ancient law that overrule

% of the people in this country don't really give a toss whether people hunt or not. But when shown emotive images say they do not like it. Try telling someone, who thinks chickens come from ASDA and milk from bottles, that it is natural for one animal to kill another. There is a way around it though. Yes siree. Get yourself a coursing cheetah nothing in the hunting act says you cannot course hares with a cheetah. TC

True if you have a gun or eagle in position to catch and the dog catches before the eagle or gun shoots it. Then it is an accident that you did not intend to happen. TC

Your not allowed to hunt a mouse, as it is not on the exceptions list. Rats and Rabbits only! You seem set that because that it does not say you cannot take a fox on the run with a lurcher then you can. Try it and see. TC
