  1. Did you paddle fast enough for them to ride the bow wave? TC
  2. Up to about 23 / 25 years ago Pembroke, Cardigan and Carmarthenshire were crawling with rabbits in pockets. I used to catch a lot of rabbits a year averaged around 20 a trip. Now I am lucky if I get into double figures for the year. TC
  3. Good luck, with a bit of luck you may have a few before the mixie hits. It's been the same for the last 20 odd years, plenty of rabbits in the Summer, then come Autumn the mixie hits and the rest of the Winter you are scrambling around for a couple of rabbits. TC
  4. Thats true, and I have no hair for it to grip on too. I would have to have the band so tight it would stop the circulation to my head. TC
  5. Yes, I bought one this morning, quite impressed with it. TC
  6. I could see this coming in handy over the winter, nice price also. http://www.offerscheck.co.uk/led-fishing-cap/aldi/2014/kw-31/104411 TC
  7. No, thats someone else who used to be on here, but does not bother any more. TC
  8. Was reading a link of here this morning, and there was an article on the side plane about a statue of the Devil. What struck me was that the Devil has a representation in a form we can see. Yet God does not. That struck me as odd. http://www.bbc.co.uk...gazine-33682878 TC

Tried making some smaller needles this week out of bits of oak not big enough for the normal ones I make Out of five blanks I have two needles with three blanks left to do. Does not give me confidence that they will last long in use, still, if you don't try you will never know. TC
  10. I would like to get buried, ( to give back to the earth what I have taken) but that is just romanticism. Cremation is the cheapest so that is how I will be done. TC
  11. My favourite is cold gravy when it's set, spread it on doorsteps thickly. Lamb gravy is the best with a dash of mint jelly. TC
  12. Read the title and though his wife will be pleased. TC
  13. While blowing up a balloon, is it constantly expanding? Yes, of course. Yet it also has a finite volume at any point during that expansion doesn't it. At no point does it have infinite volume, or will it ever do. So what your are actually saying is there is no such thing as infinity? TC
  14. What a fecking tosser. I am ashamed to see your Welsh a disgrace to your nation. If that is the only way you know of stock breaking you need to give up owning dogs as much as the OP. Edited to add: This must be a wind-up surely? If it is you got me, if it's not Cnut. TC
  15. Forgive my childish reasoning, but if something is constantly expanding then is it not infinite? Does it not only become finite when it stops expanding? TC
  16. Griff you really are above and beyond us bodgers. TC
  17. He had a dog from the same breeding previously, and he got rid because it was a stock worrier. Most people would have twigged that there was a possibility that a pup from the same breeding would go the same way and take steps to prevent it happening. Did he? Its seems not. Some people no matter how much they love dogs should never have them. They are an accident looking for somewhere to happen, the problem is they give every other lurcher owner a bad name. TC And all said and done, it's not just down to it being that particular cross I agree with you 100%, yet a hell of a lot of ot

  19. Is he saluki/bull/grey by any chance?Yes mate saluki, bull grey! How did you guess!? Your avatar pic looked like it might be. I've never owned one but My son had a pit that was very high energy as a young dog and I'd imagine that that combined with a saluki temperament might need careful stock breaking. Then again, any breed of lurcher can produce a pup which takes time to get properly steady with sheep. I'd say stick at it for a while before going with the E collar. Just to let you know mate, it's not actually the one in that picture. She's fine with sheep, very occasionally she will want t

  21. Shoot the fecking thing and don't have another dog. Two dogs gone exactly the same way. I would seriously consider if you are competent enough to train a dog. TC
  22. English humour? But it could just be me slow on the up take? TC My Newt + Minute (pronounced 'my nute') Geddit No I didn't! TC
