  1. We used to catch them on silver foil float fished years ago. They were feeding on cooked whitebait from a power station out fall. A bit of tin foil wrapped around the hook and a small pike bung as a float, you could catch as many as you wanted. I find large mullet very oily and too strong for my taste. But fish up to 2lb are very nice eating. TC
  2. I believe it was the state the ground was left in after the last game fair there. Pembrey is a far better venue no soggy fields or mud if it rains. TC

Look up John Orr the rabbiting man. TC
  4. Not a rude comment, but my honest thoughts. The child is left to do what he likes, his mother does not give him purpose, hence the staying in bed all day and up at night. He needs help, yes! But not in any other way other than to get some purpose and structure in his life. TC
  5. They are good eaters at that size.De-scale then fillet, brush with garlic butter and grill for a few minutes each side ...... Very nice. TC
  6. Interesting. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/33153133 Just hide any golf carts from Powell. TC
  7. So with each change of government you would also have a change of ideals? Sounds a bit stupid to me. No need for eugenics people are sheep and will follow the leader. TC
  8. I tried to get my head around "supernatural" incidents in my early 20's and failed miserably. I have no chance now .I believe something out of what we know as 'the ordinary' can and does occur. What causes it? I gave up trying to work that out about 30 years ago. TC
  9. It really does look like a large black feline to me, I took a screen shot @ 27seconds and blown it up as best I can. If you look at the roe doe in the right hand side foreground and compare that to the size of the animal in the background on the left and it is quite a large animal. TC
  10. I will be there on the Sunday as usual. The new venue was a great success last year, the only problem being the single road in and out of the place. That said, it was a quicker exit than when at Gelli-aur. TC
  11. I don't know if this would work? What about an industrial sander or a concrete finisher to clean the tops of the bricks then seal it? TC
  12. What is the animal between 20 and 30 seconds? Looks like a big feline to me? TC
  13. Terry, the temperatures have been low this spring. This time last year farmers had been pulling potatoes for three weeks, with good yields. This year they are another couple of weeks from the first harvest.apart from that hot spell in April the ambient temperatures have been around 12C, too cold to get the potatoes going. So it is probably not the variety of potatoes thats at fault. TC
  14. Don't know if there are, but I reckon there are a few candidates. TC
  15. Are you really that thick? Try facebook plenty on there. TC
  16. Well it sold for £600. http://www.freeads.co.uk/uk/buy__sell/leisure__hobbies/hunting__sporting_equipment/air_guns/28947119/air-arms-s410f-177-/view#.VXs2dVLEwxg TC
  17. Should be in there somewhere. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index.php?s=d9b8d26c9f47530c94704613c518e827&app=googlecse#gsc.tab=0&gsc.q=Hawke%20night%20vision%20mono TC
  18. No problem, but You will have to remind me, often. I was actually thinking about doing that myself but have nowhere to plant them. I grew some Turkish Hazels out of nuts left over from Xmas have three of them in the garden. TC
  19. Give the girl a conker. Commonly known as the red buckeye. TC
  20. Nope, the leaves give it away somewhat. TC
