I've a niko Stirling long range 6x24x50 on my 17hmr, the only reason it's on is its off a .308 I had, to be honest it is overkill and I rarely go up to 10x, it will be going back on the 308 when I get around to getting a new scope, I'm more inclined to get a 4x12x50 for the 17. As walshie says though just my opinion an go for what you like.

I'd did a post on the damage the cci mini mags do a bit ago https://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/378554-half-an-hour-this-morning-graphic/?tab=comments#comment-4638746 I still like them and use them, I can't be bothered re-zeroing to go back to using subs as the price difference is negligible, until I purchase a reasonable quantity of subs I'll stick HV.

Thing that gets me is how do amazon let them do it, I thought you'd to buy stuff to review it? Obviously not, so we can all review stuff we have an opinion on! The pigs are expensive but worth it, difficult to source here so looking at delivery option was all.

Got told on my fac renewal couple of years ago I couldn't keep air guns any more and had to get rid! I only had them for the kids to play with anyway so had to chuck em in the sea, separate license here for airgun now see. Used to shoot each other all the time with em as kids ? was great fun and still a 22 pellet in my face as a reminder ?

I'm going to see my daughter and grandson next month in the Republic of Ireland, we're traveling through Northern Ireland (Belfast). As I live on an island we only have really one RFD and normally stock up on ammo while mainlanding. We get back Sunday, so my next goto in Inverness is closed. Could I get ammo on my way back in Ireland or Northern Ireland on a scottish fac? Should add I'm not traveling with any firearm and only buying 17,22 an 308

I'm inclined to agree with Rabid, try cabbage or other greenery, they will be used to leaf vegetation unless they have access to root veg? Just an opinion and good luck ?

They are good and hold thier tune, nice case too. Not the best in the world but by no means the worst too. £200 to £300 as with everything depends what folk want to pay though, and how bad you need the cash! It's a 1969 - 72 if you showed serial number could give you exact date.

I did some boilers for Unilever outside Leicester I think it was, in the 80s, they were growing huge amounts of cannabis then for medical research, amongst other things, the security was very tight and they did background checks on folk that worked there. I never got to see any but it was there in huge opaque polytunnels. I'm sure they know the value of it as medicine also, like you say there is too much money in other drugs that it would replace. Worldwide they have enough knowledge and test results to justify using it, but all comes down to greed and money again.

I paid cash for all my houses, this one was only £100,000 granted, but still have a few hundred grand stashed in cash, don't want the system knowing what I have or the tax man taking my kids inheritance, cash all the way for me!

Been using these without any bother, have a box of Hornaday v max, they're still sat in the safe because of miss fires, I never got to taking them back as I got them on the mainland, won't be using them again! They used to be a great round years ago, shortcuts to keep up with competition, that's only my opinion though? Those winnies look cheap though ?
