In fact nothing original of the bodywork left, it's all been bodged from bits and bat's ?
-
Is that a can of nitro ? Mines just a work horse, so looks not as important as the running. Did half shafts and brakes last year, so I can stop it now, rather than a ditch or strainer. Use it launch the boat too, they don't like sea water, hence brakes and half shaft bearings. Dextas were blue originally.

Portsmouth rounds are shot at 18yds.all really depends on the poundage your comfortable pulling. Indoor to 30 yds I use 36lbs outdoor to 70yds I use 54lbs, I have been doing archery quite a few years and takes some weeks training to get up to heavier limbs.

Its a 1961 dexta, still going good, but could use a new injector pump as the one on it is off a major. We probably have the highest number of massey 35s in the UK here though, I just like to be different ?

Thanks Griff. I see talent runs in your family, very nice boards.

To me, there should be an indifferent option rather than just agree and disagree, some questions I really don't care, but have to agree or disagree! I came out very near Gandhi, debatable to say the least.

Aye for a couple of deer a year it wouldn't be worth my while. They just looked the part and I grabbed them, wasn't until I thought about it whilst lugging them into my shed, they'd be no good. Maybe I could use them as a base and put a veneer of sorts on. Have my heart set on chainsaw coming out in the morning though ?

Wonder how much a 3'8"x18"x4" block of maple would be, probably even more to ship it here too ?
-
Aye that's what occurred to me, looks the part but better off as kindling. Need some oak or the like.
-
Salvaged these two blocks and was thinking I'd make a butchering block, now I'm in two minds if it's worth the effort. Pretty sure it's pine, so going to be too soft for wielding a cleaver on I think. I was going to use linseed oil or the like to seal it. Thoughts anyone would be appreciated, but will at least end up as kindling!

These so called world leaders, deciding to retaliate against a country killing its own people, with missile strikes to kill more civilians, is it just me that can't see the sense in it all. I'm thinking there's a lot more too it that they're not letting on?
-
Aye wouldn't put it past them, they have an arsenal already big enough to destroy the planet though.
-
It's only a test range, nothing nuclear. Think there are only 16 men manning it now too. They were on about it been used for space rockets last year, but nothing came of it.

According to this I'm probably OK stuck on this rock we live ? so long as its a westerly wind ?

Well if it does all kick off, farewell all was nice knowing you ?

Honestly, a gang spared jail for violently raping a 13 year old!! What the hell has happened to our justice system? http://metro.co.uk/2018/04/11/rapists-spared-jail-attack-girl-13-violent-may-not-able-children-7457093/#mv-b

I knew a guy that got his van clamped, he had all his gas cutting/welding kit in it, not content with just cutting the clamp off, he welded it six feet up a post, he was prosecuted for criminal damage for both clamp and council post, cost him a small fortune but said it was worth every penny. It was stuck up on the post for a month before they replaced the entire post.

You are correct but, private companies can persue their invoices through county/small claims courts, they are then enforceable with added costs.

I'm thinking at 15 you'd still need an appropriate adult to countersign too, preferably one who already has an FAC. As mentioned cabinet's are inexpensive, bigger the better in my opinion, then as you get more you don't need to upgrade. They last forever and a worthwhile investment, unless they decide to change the BS numbers, then we're all doomed. All FEO's are different and want different things, you'll only find out for sure when you get a visit, then they will be able to advise you and help. -
Ive used the online ones just for comparison of different ammo at http://gundata.org/ballistic-calculator I see now Sako and Hornaday have an app aswell as a few others, does anyone use any of these apps or online references. I'm sceptical about any calculations being accurate as there are too many factors to consider in the field aswell as different rifles. In a perfect world where we all have perfect conditions and rifles maybe, but we all know that's not the case. Thoughts?

They would come in your garden and lift it away on thier backs to the wagon, then return it. Some won't even empty them these days if the lid won't shut. They used to take anything left at the side of the bin too, as my old man discovered one day, even if you'd just propped it there for a while ? Everyone seemed a lot happier in the 50,60 and 70's, milkman would whistle, everyone would say "morning", the grocer, butcher and Baker would know you by name. We didn't need to recycle because we used it again or returned it! I could go on about the "good old days", but. Sure technology h
