It is no use asking on here. Ring your firearms dept and ask about your individual circumstances. After all it will be them that revoke your certs if they believe you aren't complying with the law.

They tried that and called it social distancing, but the twats wouldn't so everyone is now confined to barracks.

What are the incinerators for? Covid 19 victims because people wouldn't stay home? ?

Another two not to worry about, well done.

Good shooting! horrendous disease is mange, you definitely did him a favour.

The trouble with the digex as i see it is lack of optical magnification. The other pulsars that i have looked through and used are poor when it comes to digital mag, you end up looking at Lego foxes. I don't know if the digex is the same but worth checking before being disappointed in a purchase.

Lefties are mongoloids and should be kicked in the nads at every opportunity!? I have tried a couple of mates rifles with GRS stocks but they are too big for my mitts.
-
Make them an offer they can't refuse "let me use your high seats or i'll set fire to them". ?

That is a good enough group.

I have some of the defiant pellets that i bought for my mercury but they don't group well at all. The new Bisley wasps as they are now are made on the old worn out dies that the Eley wasps where made on hence why they aren't very good any more.

Well done! nothing worse than a fox that starts taking livestock.

The only thing to spoil it is you have to go home to more nattering!

Trouble is with that route, an appeal against a decision by plod can cost 10k easily. Plod know it and take the chance people can't afford it. -
I am well aware of the situation thanks. I won't be using alternatives to lead until they are truly a viable alternative. Neither i nor anyone in my family has eaten lead, there is no need to if you actually look at what your eating. Rifle ammo will be the next thing on the agenda particularly for deer.
-
Seriously! Who is going to take notice of a fifteen year old "gunsmith" that spends more time making crap youtube videos than actually gunsmithing. When they actually do make viable alternatives ie: as good as lead at the same price then i will consider them. Until then i will continue to use lead as i don't sell game. I have enough rifle bullets to last me, my son and grandsons out.

Well done! Back in the seventies when i was on fifty pounds a week i could supplement my wages by lamping rabbits with a couple of decent lurchers. I would try to get a hundred in a night, taking as many sitters as possible. I used to keep four lurchers at a time and ran them alternatively. I would take two out and leave two in the van then alternate. I would be out all night Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I was paid a pound each for them just gutted but i had to leave the kidneys in. Then there was the time rabies was on the continent and they couldn't use their fox skins. There was a

That looks good except for the spice, it would give me grief.

Funny how people are so different, i wouldn't even contemplate shooting a rifle without a mod on. I really enjoy trying to come to terms with wary foxes, i will write about the most wary fox i have ever encountered when i get time. It took me three months to kill it.
-
You'll get on top of them shortly, at least you know they are there.

Thursday night arrived and there was a brief respite from the incessant rain we have had all week, make that weeks. I had to get out i couldn't stand being indoors for another night. I had arranged for my mate to come for seven and we would go to a couple of farms not too far away to start with. We arrived at the first one about seven twenty and drove through to a good vantage point looking down two fields directly in front of us. I had set the caller out at fifty yards whilst my mate got his rifle ready. I tried half a dozen calls in half an hour before deciding to move on as there was no sig

Right, as a reluctant member of basc, ( membership is part of my subs to a wildfowling club ) i decided to phone them today. I had a lengthy conversation with a chap there during the course of which he said the shooting organisations aren't going to ask fir it to be made law. When i questioned him about the likes of 410s and none toxic ammo, he said they had made enquiries and found no one produced it. I could have told him that and no one ever will because for the 410 to be effective you need full chokes. I asked if lead ammo would still be available in five years and he said yes it won'
-
Yes ignore it and stockpile lead till the joists creak under the weight.?
-
The cost of bismuth or tungsten is prohibitive.
-
No a wildfowler is specific to shooting on marshes and foreshore. People shooting ducks off ponds etc are not wildfowlers. Yes shooting ducks with lead is breaking the law.
-
No it's not "regardless of which individuals shoot ducks" you specifically blamed wildfowlers for it and they are certainly not the problem.
