    I would say that if you're getting barrels plugged regularly you need to look at your trigger settings perhaps.

    Avoid the pre-stretched stuff or the double-strength. I use 6 or 8lb bayer.

    The problem with the VAT is that there's also an £8 handling charge, and the threshold at which VAT is supposed to apply on incoming parcels is £15 or over. I've been hit before several times with a fee in which the handling charge was more than the VAT and that leaves a bad taste. Hi John, you need to get the customs form to be designated as a gift or, "products for review". I've never had many problems if they can do this.

    Feed them dog biscuit, fish with a deerhair spun fly or a simple cork ball superglued to a hook. make sure your backings well attached!!

    The one we had was plagued with problems of water seeping into the wiring loom. Imagine the shame of being brought back 160 mile up the motorway on the back of an RAC wagon time after time after time.......we never did get to the bottom of that particular problem, but someone pinched it...be thankful for small mercys i suppose.

    Fact is, the moles still the most mysterious mammal in the uk.......thank God. Having caught a few alive lately i was seriously considering making some kind of "run" for them out of clear pipe, to observe them. One thing i have learnt about the moles is that they don't care where they are, if a worms there they'll eat it!

    I helped a friend out last summer. She had a rat living in her house entering via a small hole where a waste pipe had been removed and not filled. My friend videoed the rat, it was leaving her house, scampering up the garden, through the hedge and climbing, at speed, straight up a fancy metal bird feeder, eating like crazy then scampering back to the house. A chunk of mars bar on a Big Nipper type trap sorted it out. i fed the rat with chocolate for a few days, then had him. In actual fact the rat was pissing in the meter cupboard and thats where i trapped him. A reet big sod he was too! A

    I will agree with you there pal he comes over here and travels up and down the country without a doubt gets a result every time like your old pal Killing crew fair do;s lads the mans a warrior. if lads understand how much traveling he does think they would have alot more respect for him. we did a 350 mile trip he set off at 3am walked from 9 in morning to 4 in afternoon then drove 350 miles back. he got back at 1am. then yesterday hes up at 8 waiting for land to thaw until 2 in the afternoon got his runs then set back off to ireland he missed the 12 oclock boat so had to wait for the 4am on

    nearly spit me coffee out then he has covered a few subjects Yes, But Baw...my books are written from experience, unless I am interviewing. I don't think you can critisise when you have spent so long on this site being the resident 'expert' on everything it seems. You must have a mighty quiet season when you can afford to have such a high post count all through the autumn and winter. Why not switch your computer off and get out hunting, learn something, your views might not be so blinkered then........Just a thought.... like old times this mate, not seen you biting for a while.
