  1. bloody hell , a tuned in bulldog bad enough , a 300lb thing with teeth and claws , that can eat you , you never get anybody jump over your back gate , unless pissed up haha
  2. He can be a great dog off the lead once we've burned off his excess energy, he loves flushing pheasants and hunting rabbits (which were in short supply in Stockport) there are some great places here that are public but are rammed with birds. In hindsight he could have made an amazing rough shooting dog as he has no fear of getting in to cover which is rare for labs. Once I discovered good places for him to hunt I had more fun than I've had in 7 years of shooting just watching him put up birds. He is still an arsehole though lol check your pm i sent one .
  3. nice dog that, most bulldogs are friendly to people, and not what you call guard breed. But when they do decide to guard , with there drive /power /jaw they take hell of alot of stopping , seen a 36lb bitch who was bit like the above freindly , but if you went into his yard with out the owner , she would have you and , you be in trouble deff , great dogs in the right hands
  4. to right ken, haha , mind you when i was working at my local brewery , they gave you there working steel toe cap boots , and god they bloody hard on your feet ,took long while to brake in. and just looked again , he hasn't really gone to the toe part of the boot, he shot to me lower down and missed the toecap if you look proper , it may have compressed toecap down with shot , but as above do it with empty boot 1st , no bloody foot in it . lol
  5. well done, and nice way to switch off from work, plus its all good training for the pup. i like springers , they are great gundog for water and land . what do you do most rough shoot ,standing gun, or beating.? i did alot of beating and seen alot of springers working, some beaters had them, then few paid guns had them, ok not like a lab as peg dog, but they came close . i spoke to one bloke who done fair bit geese shooting, and he used his springer for that, was big strong male , tough strong dog, if i was still shooting it what i get nice male springer pup.
  6. No 1 in the authorities gave a flying Fukc to find out what actually happened . . I will refrase that , they knew what happened but didn't want to expose what was happening and who was orchestrating it , so there mindset was say nothing and it will go away , imagine the resources they'd of ploughed into it if it had been a Muslim girl !! deff if it had been paki girls , what ever way you look at it raping underage white girls by paki men, it balint racism ,because as above not feckin one of the 48 girls was a paki , all were white . I Watched all 3 programs , and thought the

  9. what a great read , exciting right up to the attack , a brave man, with that cat clamped on his elbow , feck me it bust it with one bite , but as he said what real brave cats there are , to go in and attack anybody by them . just goes to show how powerful a male lion is , they kill Leopards regular by crunching there heads when they attack them . great read keep them coming
  10. do you mean bulldog =apbt or a abd , either a gsd will had some guarding instinct to it , a pits norm friendly with people . Mind you my 1x gsd x grey Buck , he full on to his quarry , if he was the same to a person , he would deff wreak them, you got 85lb muscle and bone with powerful jaw clamping down on you .But he bloody strange dog he loves all people and good with other dogs, he must have picked up the greys temp, as he very sensitive and wimpy he like old Bryn both get up set easy, there nothing like my old bullxs they were chilled around the yard , and not sensitive lik

  15. sound that then , he prob sort you a nice dog pup out, if he does put few pics up
  16. fair point that , i suppose really as well ,you got to try get the best type x you want for the quarry you intend to run , as you say most type lurchers will catch rabbits. But even from proven parents , some pups wont be as good as there parents , it law of nature , but your 100% better of with a pup from proven parents you in with fighting chance , but any pup you pick its ton of luck you need with it , because as you say it got to have right mind set to start with . Another thing is how serious you take this dog game , ive always wanted a dog that will give 100% with what e
  17. Any wild or released animal or bird belongs to no man,no matter how much land they own and the amount of folk they pay to cater for their needs. The facts are that 5% of the population own over 90% of our Isles because of the side they took around 1066.Its land that was earnt through theft and is brushed aside as history now and certain folk are still hell bent on regulating ancient statutes that were put in place to protect the b*****d landowner and punish the serf. The serf deserves the same access to our Land and the fauna it holds more than the b*****d landowner that hides behind ancient sta
  18. why not use a nice strong springer dog or get one instead of crossing it ?, they do the lot, water and land , good at bushing as well. i ve seen many working , when i used to go beating .Ok the lab the best peg dog,and water dog , but strong male springer , does great job as well . great at beating flushing birds up , and strong enough if they bumped into a charlie , i seen it few times on fox drive , where the springers have pushed them out, tough dogs and great gundog

  21. nice pic that , how was she bred then, was she a whippet or a greyhound lurcher x lurcher , if so the collie be watered down , celt was a 1/2 x , ive always said a 1/4 plenty of collie in a mix , it when you go more you can get the manic /sensitive / temp takes over
  22. +2 , he got some balls the old lad to do that, i could do it if i had few pints , bit of dutch courage lol, but cold sober , no way them things ( parachute ) dont alway feckin open . or relying on somebody else to open it nope .!!
  23. what height did she make keith ? just wondered if the beddy grey threw bit more height to her . ?
  24. suppose you always got that risk , as pit and wheaten are not over tall pit 18-22in ,wheaten 18-20in both thick set dogs. But with the greyhound running through there veins both sides , you could get bit more height , could go 23- 25in , either way you no by time there 10 month old, as small to mid size get there height then, larger deerhound type xs 12-15 month . my pitx greys got there height by 10 months ,all went about 26 in .
